This failed part on my sons GMC gave him a dead battery the next morning, not knowing when he got out of the car that the fan was still running. Seems this is a common part failure for intermittent fan blower issues. Once replaced with this part, all is working as expexted.

replaced me old broken resistor with this, it works but not great. every time ABS kicks on or I am using certain features of my truck the fan turns on and off. but if you are just trying to get heat in an old farm rig it works.

Perfect replacement for the OEM one. Two connectors and two screws. Fan works now, not much else to say.

Easy enough install, problem solved. Local guy wanted almost $300 and he was going to replace the fan, resistor, and the switch! Once the fan tested good, I knew it was just the resistor. It’s hard to find this particular part. There are plenty of the old design out there, but you have to bump into a thread somewhere that mentions the resistor was redesigned, then you have to hunt down the part number for it. Once I did, this was waiting for me to resolve the dead fan.Works great so far! Will update review if things change.
