Good if brief introduction
This quite a good introduction to the Romans and is aimed at the 9-11 year old market. It would be a good book to use in a school setting, or at home to accompany a related topic at school. It is not very long, at 32 pages, but it has nice brightly coloured photos and illustrations on each page. Each double page covers a different topics such as Family and school, A Roman child's day, and Religion and worship. It gives ideas for further activities related to each topic and also further reading. For £8.99 I might have expected a little more content but it would serve a a good introduction to the topic.

A good opening for ancient history
This history book is aimed at kids, so there is plenty of colour and illustrations. The text is simple but interesting and would be a great starter book for a kid who is interested in ancient Rome.It has clear chapters and is not a long read. But its clear and concise.Worth a look for the young history buff in your life.

ROMANS
A very useful book that helped my grand child understand the time in history, the different aspects of the Roman's life and helped her to do her project. The illustrations and descriptions were a huge help for her.
