I have mixed feelings about this product, so I'll try to break it down. Honestly, I'm kind of shy around people, and wearing these extensions is definitely an attention grabber. It's a lot of hair, thick, and almost goes to my waist. I mainly purchased it for a festival and figured I'd blend in with all the costumes. Yes, I'm that shy. Lol.Pros: It's so soft; it blends in beautifully with my hair; they give you hairpins, hair tie, and eyelashes, which is a nice touch. Even though it is synthetic hair, it looks natural. I actually felt beautiful wearing it.Cons: I had to pin the hell out of it to make sure it laid right so I had to keep repositioning it. I was even adding more pins than what was provided. It's a little heavy so my husband held up my ponytail so I could put pins in the back. The combs that go in the hair don't snap onto the hair; you just push it into your hair. When I first took it out of the package, I ran my hands through it, and it made it kind of frizzy. The drawstring part doesn't do anything, and it just makes a huge lump on the back of your head. I'm so glad I pinned the hell out of it because it ended up being super windy. My hair flew everywhere, which made me self-conscious that the ugly drawstring tab showed in the back. By the end of the night, my hair looked like a rat's nest. I tried brushing it out with a detangler brush, but it just made it look poofier; I felt like a linebacker with how big it got, and the mesh showed through after the brushing, even though I was gentle. Yes, it's cheap, but 17.99 is a lot for just one use. It starts to add upNext time I think I'll just get the clip-on ponytail. It's so much easier, and I don't have to worry about tabs, pins, and mesh showing through. Too much work for me. I enclosed a picture with no filter, to show how well it blends in.**Tip: If your hair is frizzy, use a fabric dryer sheet and smooth it down your hair.**

Right of the package felt soft and silky. As soon as you put your fingers through it, its tangled, fluffy, frizzy. It sheds, pretty badly when combing. However, its thick so it’s not a big deal and did not shed at all when wearing. If it’s your first drawstring pony, watch some youtube videos on how to install first. Make sure you have extra bobby pins, because you will most likely need more than what it came with. Before wearing, I had to spray with dry shampoo to get rid of shine, leave in conditioner and then add some hair oil to smooth it out/give it some moisture. Used hair spray after on any leftover frizz. It was not overly heavy, no headaches, matched my hair perfectly, and made me feel pretty. Stayed all day in place and after wear, I smoothed it out with a bristle paddle brush which seemed to work best on this hair piece vs other brushes. Would not recommend for everyday, but fun to have for once in awhile.

This was my ponytail and I got it in the black color — that I wore for a concert. The ponytail is very smooth. It does not get tangled. It does not look tacky or bad quality. All I did was combing, texture spray and patience. My hair in this photo took two hours. If you want to have a realistic ponytail, and a very slick front, it will take time. If you know how to do hair, this is it. This worked great for me. I loved it so much, got so many compliments. This is easy to put on, but don’t expect to throw this on in 5 minutes and expect it to look “realistic”. Take your time about learning your head shape, where it feels comfortable and have extra hair ties, bobby pins & patience. 10/10 looks REALISTIC if you add texture spray, combing, etc

I was torn on purchasing this but decided to give it a try. I’m mixed with curly hair so found that the texture just did not match well. My hair does straighten when pulled back tightly into a bun but still not a fan of the look/feel of the hair. Keeping it for now in case I can make it work with me in the near future.

I love this ponytail but it does tangle easily. I've gotten complements on how nice I look wearing it. I recommend but not for everyday use.

I'm already blond anyway but have trouble finding hair extensions that match my regular hair (cause I like a little more length and curls). The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because I have a little trouble 'installing it'. It's in ponytail form so you can whisk it forward. Perfectly thick and curly enuff, but have had trouble covering the ponytail part at the top and blending it in... just a little. Wish that part was easier, but WELL WORTH IT FOR THE MONEY. It looks so real the compliments I get are legitimate. Can't wait to buy more.

This is very soft but takes a little silicone spray to manage the tangles. I wore it as a high ponytail for a gala and got so many compliments!

It does get tangled easily but you can't complain for how cheap it is
