Almost perfect!
This is a great hat. Super light but the brim is sturdy enough to hold shape. I didn't want the neck protection or the chin strap so cut them both off. The hat does roll out a bit in back when the cord is tightened. This is now my go to hat for golf. Looks good and at this price I will just throw them away and order new ones when they get beat up from sweat and use. Highly recommended.

I has tiny holes in it which may let the sun in.
I didn't like the fact that it has air holes that might or might not let the sun in. I need total protection

Didn’t burn back of my neck
Wore this to work on vineyard 4.5 hours in a heat wave. Did not burn back of my neck so I was able to get a lot done. But it felt tight ontop of my head which gave me a headache.

Initially good - broke after a few (5) uses
This hat broke after 5 uses. It definitely kept the sun off my head, and promised to be an excellent product. Unfortunately it didn’t last very long, as the draw string broke when tightening. This may have just been a random defect, but wish it would have held up better. The draw string is incredibly important when hiking in the Rocky Mountains, where winds are a constant.
