HARRISSB61 Stay Brite Silver Bearing Solder 1/8" x 1 lb Spool

This soft Silver solder is what it is. Slightly cheaper than Stay-Bright #8 because this product has a silver content of 4% and #8 has 6%. This difference slightly changes the solders behavior during application but results in the finished joint having virtually identical properties and stress limits. It's still no high temp silver solder, but it does generally behave consistently. I did find it to be a bit temperamental if using any other flux other than Harris stay clean liquid flux. So be sure to order as a bundle especially if residing in Canada because the flux hugely improves usability but both of these products are literally non-existent from any shop as a regular stocked product.

I used to buy this solder from a place that doesn't carry it anymore. Not even thinking Amazon, I went online looking. It took me to Amazon. The solder is a 94-6 tin, silver ratio. If you work with solder, you'll love this. Has a high tensile strenghth, with a good flow and hides a world of sins.
