Nice project for beginning painters
A 7 year old painted the Monkey and a 9 year old painted the Tiger. The Tiger was definitely harder and required more patience. We almost ran out of green paint for the monkey but we did make it. There was plenty of paint for all the other colors. There was no paint mixing needed. Each painting came with 2 paintbrushes, both with relatively small tips. We ended up using our own paintbrushes. The directions were in awkward English, as others have mentioned, but this type of painting project doesn't require much in the way of directions. The paintings each came with 2 hangers and screws. The hanging hardware for the Tiger painting was bigger than the hardware for the monkey. Both kids really enjoyed the painting and want to do more at some point.

Mystery paints- hit or miss. Inconsistent quality
Thick stinky cheese paint. Translation suggests gifting this item to your Lover. But... these are definitely designed for kindergarteners, First, Second- primary school aged children.I’ve bought many of these. The paints are hit and miss. When the paint is usable the children are overjoyed with these small projects. We ended up buying a selection of acrylic paints to make up for the bad paints in these kits. Some paint is thick and stinky and old. Other paints have sort of puffed in the pot and they have a light foamy type quality. Definitely not useable paint. It was disappointing when we received bad paint.

I like how they give u different color so you don't ...
It looks really cute!!! I like how they give u different color so you don't HAVE to follow their number, if you like a particular color more, u can paint it differently! I would buy this DIY paint again :)

You HAVE to get your own brushes.
Bought this for my daughter's 7th birthday. She loves coloring and painting, so I thought this would be a nice segway into something more than just doodling on printer paper. It arrives, and I'm just eh. Not completely blown away with it, but looks simple enough a kid could do it. Open up the package and it's stapled to a wooden frame! Thats awesome! The instructions are in some other language, maybe Chinese? And they are very crudely translated, make very little sense. But hey, its not rocket science, right? All spots marked with #1 get color #1 (the colors are labeled). Too easy. Now the kicker....the picture here (and on ALL the other listings for this style product under this shop name) show 3 paintbrushes. A fat, flat one, a tiny little bitty one, and one kind of in between. What does this come with? The itty bitty one, nothing more. So here it is, 8 pm on a Sunday, just finished cake, and she wants to paint. There was no way anything would have gotten accomplished with that tiny little brush. Too late to go anywhere and get anything, and an upset birthday girl. Would have been nice if the listing actually said there was only one useless brush involved.

Gummy paint
Paints are thick and gummy. Some were completely dried out and unusable. My 4 year old was very disappointed.
