SturbridgeCountry Rag Rug in Red 24" x 36"

Loved this rug so much that I ordered two more to go with it. Now thinking of where else in my home I need new rugs. Love the country look and the red and black colors go perfectly with my red and black kitchen. Nice weight to rugs as well, although I do plan on attaching them to my old rubber backed foam mats to keep them from sliding around and give a tad more cushioning. I originally wanted braided rugs, but they were just too expensive. I love these rugs as a great alternative, but still has the farmhouse country look I wanted for my kitchen!

Like the look. Thin rug. Washing somewhat of a nightmare even though I followed the instructions. Water in the rinse cycle was bright red so be very careful not to intermingle other items. It tells you all this on washing instructions. Also appears that it could come apart on next washing but instructions tell you that too, in so many words.

Second time I've purchased these - first round lasted 4 years. Hope these do too. Color rubs off on the floor, and ran significantly first wash. Expect that will slow down.

I have some kitchen cushion mats that I bought that are curling up on the ends, so I have been looking for a rug that is easy to clean that I could put over the top of them. These work perfect! They feel durable, are easy to clean and add a splash of color to my kitchen. I like the handmade look and the fact there is a lot of variation in the color. The price was right too. Mine did not smell off either as some other reviewers had commented - so it appear to be a subset of the seller's stock?

Very nice rug. I wish it were a bit thicker, because I had to buy a rug pad for fear I'd slip on it.

I loved the look of this rug for awhile but over time the red really fades and then just doesn’t look as nice. I did not try the vinegar trick but the color did transfer onto my light “wood” linoleum floors. It was able to be wiped up thankfully. Eventually I grew tired of tripping over these rugs and went to a non slip rubber backing rug.

I love the colors, material and weight of this little throw rug. Red dyes are notorious for bleeding, so I won’t be surprised if it bleeds or fades when washed. But, it is the perfect style and color for my kitchen. I’m going to order another!
