At 5k these are White White lights. They really help define clarity in the night. They seem brighter than other lights of the same value.Other LED have the bottom part of the lamp hidden, so only the top half illuminates. These, on the other hand, look like old style incandescents and the whole length of the light bult illuminates. No dark bottom of the lights themselves. This looks a lot better in outdoor lamp fixtures that have crystal like, or textured glass. The entire light will show a nice filament like pattern. This is what you want with expensive out door lights. High textures from the expensive glass on the light fixture.The No ultraviolet light also means it doesn't attract bugs as much as regular incandescent lights. This is a nice feature that people often don't realize.These work great with dusk to dawn fixtures, that can motion sense to increase brightness. It's really what most people want, a night light type effect, that brightens when motion is sensed. It is a perfect light bulb for outdoor fixtures.They really enhance the beauty of outdoor light fixtures.

Bulbs have good brightness…clear envelope helps the cut glass in fixture sparkle. Envelope of bulb is both higher and bigger around if space is an issue

One of these bulbs has failed after just two months.

Years ago I kept my Art Deco lamp from my apartment in the mid to late 80. Rather than throw it away I thought I’d keep it for when this style come back. So i outfitted a longer cable and added a this new Feit led bulb at 5k. It’s a nice cool modern look. I like this bulb. I would definitely recommend to anyone that wants a bright blue white bulb that is clear. I don’t care much for frosted bulbs. Clear bulbs tend to bring out crisper light

I bought a two pack they are indeed similar brightness to a 100W bulb which is good because reading reviews on similar bulbs many of the filament ones seem to lie about actual brightness and these do not.I used one bulb at a time. First one died within a few months. Second one again in a few months. I noticed they had a warranty and I filled out the form with included receipt on their site. The warranty actually worked. With a month I had two new bulbs sent for free as a replacement to me. Fast forward a few months later a 3rd bulb broke and I am using my 4th bulb now. When I researched these types of filament bulbs it seemed to be a common claimant even for other companies when there were lots of reviews to see complaints about breaking too fast. This one has a warranty that actually works so it may be a better value than others that do not. I ended up purchasing this again now so when my 4th bulb breaks I'll have a replacement. I tend to use the light bulbs about 6-14 hours a day as I'm home all day.

These are very bright and emit a nice pure white colour. Would recommend for a garage or exterior light.
