iRobot Authentic Parts Dual Mode Virtual Wall Barrier Compatible with Roomba 500/600/700/800/900 Series

It is working as expected

Must have for anyone who uses iRobot home vacuums. These virtual walls make a barrier so your robot vacuum doesn’t enter or disturb and area. I use it on the edge of my small foot carpet in the washroom for the shower, and have a barrier infront of rooms I don’t want it to enter.Its compatible with all iRobots and some of the newer models don’t really need this as you can control it using the smart map on your phone, but still useful to have if there are areas in your house you do not want them going into. When it’s time to replace the batteries it will occasionally glow to let you know the battery is low.

While this is a great product, works great with my Roomba 850 but for the price of a Roomba I do not understand why a virtual wall feature is not built-in like it is with the iRobot Braava Jet Mop. The Braava mop has this built-in and is a third of the price of a Roomba.Don't get me wrong, this is a good product that works as it should (guess it's iRobot's way to get you to buy more of their products, I suppose).

Simple device to prevent the robot vacuum from accessing a area. You could use it to protect your Christmas tree from the vacuum. Don't turn on the vacuum near device or place the device near the charging station, just confused the robot vacuum. I have a 675 roomba, great compatibility.

So amazed by the barrier just because the effects of that small stuff,I can put it anywhere I want and the range is adjustable,I am still thinking if I need another one!:)

Very simple to use. Just point and the Roomba will not cross the invisible line. Light comes on to indicate it is working and then goes out to save battery life. Works great!
