Franklin Carmichael Autumn Hillside 1,000-piece Jigsaw Puzzle (Pomegranate Artpiece Puzzle)

Beautiful pictures by a famous Canadian artist. It prompted us to learn more about the artist and his work. It is well made. It is a hard puzzle for dedicated jigsaw puzle fans.

I really liked this puzzle. My mom and I finished it in about a month of working on it here and there.. sometimes working on it everyday. It was challenging but with that being said.. very fun. The pieces always fit together in a way that makes sense with pomegranate puzzles.

Lots of fun. Took a long time to complete. The puzzle quality was excellent.

Good looking but difficult

It's a very pretty puzzle but the pieces are somewhat difficult to work with. Several of the pieces have apparently "fit" but later discovered to be placed in the wrong area of the puzzle making it necessary to undo and redo some of the pieces.

Very challenging puzzle, just what we wanted ...

This puzzle was very small pieces and, with the picture being a watercolor with indistinct lines, it made it very hard to find where each piece went. The colors on the box picture were not the same as the colors on the puzzle. I enjoy working a puzzle with bigger pieces or at least some distinct lines. The quality of the puzzle was very good.

Completed this 1000 piece puzzle to find that the last two pieces don't fit! They are are the right color and almost the right shape, but definitely do not fit. I have photos and wish I could post. I bought another puzzle by the same company and now I'm not so sure I want to attempt that one. How does this happen? Seriously, I'm puzzled.

I love this painting, but the puzzle didn't do justice to the colours. The actual pieces were very faded compared to the puzzle box image. I've posted a few photos to show the difference. Biggest problem was the spruce trees. Where you expect to find green and black, you find a bluish green and charcoal gray. The lack of contrasts throughout the image made it unnecessarily difficult to find or identify pieces. On the plus side, very happy with the random shapes, because a lot of times, shape was the only thing you could go on. Pieces fit well. But I don't think I'll buy Pomegranate again.
