Hanwell Village 1894: London Sheet 055.2 (Old Ordnance Survey Maps of London)

I was born in Hanwell (not in 1894 I hasten to add!) but my grandparents lived in the same house for many years before I was born. I have found my old house courtesy of Google Maps and remember what the area looked like when I was growing up, but this is incredibly informative and not a little breathtaking to see how the area grew from just 1894. Amazing.

Fascinating to see the changes between then, 1934 and now. Map very clear and not too large to handle (Only A3 size).Upto date map would cover much larger area, but this is perfect size. Historical info on reverse an unexpected bonus.
