EarthKind Citrus Leaf Shampoo Bar for Frequent Use, 50g

Bought as I have horrible dermatitis so try and avoid normal shampoos. I have got myself in a cycle with medicated shampoos every 3 days or so and this as my normal day to day one. Gets your hair really clean, but perhaps may be a little dry if you've got long hair (not sure). My hair has more volume nowadays whereas before it was very flat/straight. Smells lovely, but I would like a bit more of a scent personally. Lathers up really well but also lasts ages - it says 20 washes on the box which worried me a little for the price but I've probably used less than a third and I've been using it for well over a month. Obviously environmentally friendly as well so you get to feel good while you're doing it!

My hair feels lovely after a wash and dry, but this bar is difficult to lather and leaves my hair on knots in the shower. I have discovered other brands that don't cause this problem.

It smells delightful. It takes a bit of getting used to but it leaves my hair squeaky clean after one wash and beautifully soft. I have long thick hair and wondered if it would be too much of a faff using it but I like it and would genuinely recommend it.

Product smells good but takes ages to lather up compared to other shampoo bars. Once it does it also seems to break apart and disintegrate. You don't get as many washes as you should with this bar.

I have converted to shampoo bars as they make my hair really healthy and keep my hair from going greasy quickly but this one is by far the best one I have used.Sometimes there is a funny ‘shampoo bar’ smell that quite a few have but this one smells beautiful. It lathers up really quickly so you don’t need much.My hair was smooth as glass once dried and it feels so clean. The shine is unbelievable, I also used it on my daughter who has really fine hair that tangles easily and this, along with my usual conditioner, made light work of the knots. Her hair is glistening.I would highly recommend EarthKind and I will be buying more ❤️

It feels very basic. Cleans very well and I feel my scalp likes it but often I feel like using the usual soap. My hair is dark and thick (Asian), short bob hair so it is okay with hair oil after towel dry but I suppose if you have longer hair, you may struggle. It is nothing like a luxury liquid shampoo. I will carry on using it for my scalp.

I love everything of it, from the scent, to the amount of foam it produces. It lasts about 3-4 months with 3-4 washes a week. I have a sensitive scalp, normally reacts to products and this has been gentle and never caused any irritation.

I was not very impressed with this product. It didn’t lather up at all, I’m not keen on the smell, and it left my hair feeling greasy and my scalp itchy. I gave it a few washes but I have now given up and will go back to a different brand of shampoo bar. Its more expensive, but for me buying this cheaper bar simply wasn’t worth it.
