Fast delivery and my picky eater likes this product. He weighs 130# and has digestive issues. This seems to be a good choice for him.

We had to take our Shiba Inu pup off chicken for a while and were hard pressed to find a suitable replacement in the “puppy kibble” category - why does everything seem to have chicken?! So we ended up switching him at 4-months to this high protein line from Solid Gold. He absolutely loves the flavor and we’re happy we were able to find a quality-ingredient kibble that wasn’t going to break the bank.Pup is almost 6 months old now and has shown no sign of tiring of this kibble. We’re going to stick with Solid Gold but try another flavor so he doesn’t get bored, but this one is definitely going to be on rotation in our house as our Shiba grows.

We purchased the “Barking at the Moon” brand upon recommendation from our Vet to clear up food related allergies. Our dog loved it for months until a few weeks ago we noticed a change in the color and shape of the food to lighter color and more of a marshmallow shape from the disc shape. Emailed the company with pictures to inquire as to a recipe change after verifying the flavor was the same we had purchased many times before. The response was that there are slight variations in color and shape due to manufacturing, but that the recipe remains the same. Our dog is not convinced as she will no longer eat it and we have gone back to the Costco food we used to buy. The dog did not love the Costco food like Barking at the Moon, but will eat it now since she Won’t touch BatM, so we’re convinced a change was made to Barking at the Moon . It’s too bad as she really gobbled up Barking at the Moon. Picture shows old recipe on top and “new” variation on bottom.Updste 2/18. All is well now. We opened the “auto shipped” bag we received after the previous bag our dog ended up eating. She eventually would eat it when she got really hungry. We found the new bag to be the same as the original formula and have concluded there must have been a packaging error by Barking at the Moon. She is once again gobbling it down like before. I wish BATTM would have investigated a little more before dismissing our complaint without any concern, but she loves it so we will continue to order.

It's the only food my pup has eaten for the last seven years. If anyone thinks it's not a good idea I would like to know. I knew the original owner of this company and she had a fabulous reputation as well as ingredients that she would feed her dog. Her dog was very healthy and beautiful. But sadly a few years ago she sold the company to somebody who not only has changed the looks of the label but also the ingredients too much more inferior ones. I was so happy to see that she was selling it in other stores where I could get it quite easily. I'm no longer in the town where she lived to be able to go in and talk to them personally to show my disappointment. So even though I'm giving it a five-star because I use it regularly and my dog loves it I wish enough people would convince them to put the ingredients list back to what it was.

I have purchased this food numerous times and my dog loves it. It is health and supports my dogs health well

My scottie dog, Angus, loves this food. I like the nutritious value it provides him. The pellets are small so is easier for him to digest.
