A great book for teaching kids that it's okay to be different!
In this book, we find a frog named Slog that has wings but cannot fly. No one, not even his own family understands why he has wings or what purpose they serve since he cannot fly. In the end, Slog accepts that he is different and that's it's okay to be different. As important as being different, children will also learn the importance of family and friends that support them even with their differences. This is a very good book for children to see that being different is okay.

Sister’s Surprise
Sister's Surprise lets kids know it's ok to be different. Being different isn't easy, especially when you're a kid. With cute illustrations and a good story, Slog teaches you it's ok to be different, and while everyone might not like you, those that love you will always be there for you no matter what.

Fun story with Great Illustrations
This is the kind of picture book that will delight a child. For one thing, it's a universal theme. Feeling different from others-- not fitting in. We follow the main character on a literal and figurative journey to discover why he is different. The illustrations are very well done and delightful. thumbs up!
