One star is too good for this review... On 29 July 2020 I purchased 4x Supagrill CPL 8KG BBQ Briquettes. These bags were stored in my house as I had no outside space. The weather turned and I was unable to use the charcoal until yesterday 19 April 2021. To my surprise I have something like black soil! The bags clearly state, “Barbecue Charcoal Coal Fuel”, and not biochar for gardening. The few coals in the picture are all that came out of the 8kg bag, but looked and smelt like damp soil, and obviously did not burn. I would expect Online Retailers UK and Supagrill to know the difference!This is the most expensive gardening soil I have ever bought. Do not purchase this product as it is a total scam and aimed at defrauding the public.

This is the only charcoal I use - it is great, lights easily and stays hot for a long time - plenty of time to cook a whole chicken and then cook on the grill for an hour or so afterwards.The seller on the other hand; Old stock, damaged packaging a goods - a lot of coals reduced to shrapnel/dust (i.e a lot more than normal).Buy this charcoal - it is great, just do not buy it from Online retailers UK!
