Tried a cheaper brand to save money today. Threw out almost as soon as I opened it. This is worth the money.

I usually buy this at Ulta but checked Amazon one day and was pleasantly surprised to be able to save money on it here and also not have to go into the store! Win-win! The product looks to be the same as what I get at Ulta.

I used to use bare minerals years ago, then kids came along and money spent on quality make up was forgotten. I got this when it was on sale and I’m not forgetting to continue using it again! I am very fair completed with cool undertones and this matches my late fall-late spring complexion. As summer comes along and I get a tan, I mix a little of a darker color into it to match my tan. I can wear it shear enough that my scattered, beloved freckles show through or layer it for more of a full coverage. I have normal skin, so I don’t know about oiliness or dryness, but I love this foundation.

I wish it wasn't so orange coloring that doesn't really flatter my skin tone

I do not know if this product was new or used because the seal that is part of the top of the powder for travel was missing and powder was above the cap.

Powder came in without a box and had no lid. Just the container the makeup is in. How an I going to store this?

Same foundation I've been wearing for years at a much better price than buying it at the mall. You need a good make up brush to apply and I prep my skin with OC8 (a matifying gel) to ensure the product goes on evenly and doesn't clump in one area - I think any light moisturizer would be fine under it. Watch the tutorial before you buy on Bare Minerals' website - follow the directions and you will be pleased with the application - very easy to learn. I have oily/combo/sensitive skin and this product is light and matte. I do use Bare Minerals "Mineral Veil" over it to set it as well. My Mineral Veil lasts a long time because it just takes a little to "set it". The coverage of this loose powder can be light or heavier depending how much you put on. If I wear it to work and then out that evening, I touch it up before going out, but it does last all day. I have oil absorbing paper sheets from Sephora that I used before applying more product to my T-zone area and I also use Urban Decay "De-Slick" spray after I put my make-up on to "set it". Make sure you keep your make up brush clean - you can wash it with baby shampoo in sink and let air dry - when make-up brush gets dirty the product does not go on evenly. Plus, keeping brushes clean is better for skin clarity. I wash mine about once a month when I wear make-up a lot. You don't need expensive "brush shampoo" the generic Johnson & Johnson Baby Shampoo works great. I invested in a Lancomb brush 23 years ago and it still looks and feels new - it was $50.00 back then and I think it is made of animal hair. Cheaper brushes won't last as long and they aren't as soft - the "Bare Minerals" brush that comes with the foundation if you buy a set is fine quality wise and can last if you keep it clean.

Always used Bare Minerals makeup, I have tried other makeup that is similar but not found them to be of Bare Minerals standard, so will stick to what I think is the best.Great coverage, skin is able to breath, no heavy makeup sent, lasts all day even when you are physically working, doesn't leave any makeup stains on clothing.Brilliant product.

First time trying a powder foundation & I love it, I have dry skin so worried it may look cakey & dry but I moisturise well before applying the powder & just buff it in, it stays on all day, doesn't sink into my lines as much as a liquid foundation does and it's so quick to apply, obsessed with it!

Been buying this product for 3 years but I believe this is copy of the real thing. The coverage is very poor and it is a lot darker than a normally wear even though I believed I was buying the same shade
