Rothco19020: X Bear Archery Fred Bear Camo Tactical BDU Pants

I've been wearing this regularly for a few weeks now, and I'm really impressed for the price. It seems well constructed, it fits well... what's not to like? I was just wearing it on the beach today in pretty high winds, and I cinched down the chin strap and it stayed on great. It doesn't feel quite as substantial in construction as my $80 Tilley hat, but it also wasn't $80. Highly recommended, an incredible value for the price. Oh, and did I mention it comes in sizes to fit big heads like mine?

I got the biggest hat I could find but not big enough for a size 8 head. Brim is small, did not provide shade for eyes. Fabric is lightweight. Discovered another company called LaMood Big Hats that carry an 8 1/2 to 8 5/8 size which fit much better with bigger brim and heavier fabric. Very happy with that purchase.

This is what I wanted, a Jeep hat to stay put with the doors and roof off. The old cotton hats get sweaty and nasty and fade from a color that's really not civilian appropriate. The brownish synthetic material is well suited to hot days and seems very sturdy without being a plastic helmet. The neck strap works well enough to at least corral the hat if it gets away at freeway speeds. Straw hats provide the best coverage, but you can't wear them driving with the high seatbacks and headrests on Jeeps from the last 40 years. Another reason to like CJ's. I like the hat, if she could find different colors, I'd get some for my wife!

The hat fits well and is properly sized, which is important to those of us with larger hat sizes. Recommended.

Purchased for husband, who has oversize head and can never find hats that fit. He loves the boonie -- it's durable, doesn't blow off, provides adequate cover, and you can't beat the price for headgear of this quality. And, of course, it fits! He asked if it came in other colors as well, and he'll be surprised to find he has considerable choice.
