This works much better then expected. Most of the first week it ran all night.
The media could not be loaded. I have had this solar water pump working for about a month now, and it is very nicely designed and built. All connectors are tight and secured with slip in keyed connectors that have a screw on cover to complete the connections. The sun here in Florida powers the pump very well. When the sun stops even briefly (Like when you walk in front of the panel), but a minimal of sunlight even indirect will power the pump. So I purchased the accessory battery pack (ECO-WORTHY 2600 mAh Backup Battery, Suit Solar Fountain Water Pump Kit) which is the perfects backup power supply for this unit. The first few nights it powered the pump all night. Now it runs at night till long after I fall asleep. When the water goes dry the pump still runs and seems to have no detrimental effects on the pump. After refilling the water it does take a few minutes to re-primes, but so far every time it comes back just as strong as ever. I recommend this solar panel, water pump and battery backup to work as a complete system to power your fountain. Happy would purchase all again.

Almost started on fire
I used this battery pack to power a small water pump in a pond. I would charge the battery at night (using the supplied power supply / connectors), and connect it to both the water pump and a solar panel during the day. This routine worked fine for about 3 weeks. The last time I connected it to the solar panel and water pump, it immediately started to smoke so I unplugged it. The water pump still works on its own, but whatever happened with this battery pack also fried my solar panel.

Solar Backup Battery Field performance
I installed this ‘backup’ battery between the solar panel and the submersible pond pump. The purpose was to ensure the pond activities continue even when clouds momentarily obscure the sun exposure to the solar panel surface. As a side benefit, the battery continues to operate the system pump even after the sun set.. at least until the battery is fully (partially?) discharged. Problem is.. the pump doesn’t ‘want” to come back on.. maybe until the battery is (Fully?) charged?? The battery instructions are not very comprehensive so, that’s my best guess. I believe Eco Worthy needs to add a photo sensor‘d (on/off) timer (as part of their offerings) to allow the system auto turn off rather than running until the battery is exhausted. Anyway, keep it in mind when you are putting your system together

Need backup!
Goes well with the solar panel. But dont expect it to last long.

Provides consistent power
It has worked well so far and I like that it keeps a consistent flow for my pump even when clouds come and after sunset. Can't evaluate longevity so far, and did not plug in to see if a fully charged battery could last the night, but has done its job so far.

A must have for your solar powered fountain feature!
Thank God I found this battery to go with my pump and fountain for my pond. The fountain part would only work while the sun was directly hitting the solar panel which is only a small part of the day. With this battery my fountain now works day and night and gets much stronger water pressure. Don’t think about buying it just do it!

Didn’t last long
I was initially very happy with this as it kept my pond pump going for four hours after sunset. I had the solar panel down out of direct light for a few months over the summer and when I put it back up this week I found that the back up battery no longer works. I am now seeing reviews that came in after I bought it reporting battery fires. It is disconnected now as it seems to not work anymore and could be a hazard. When it worked it worked great. The panel works well.
