PravanaColor Enhancer Pink Unisex, 5 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)

My gf decided to let her natural gray shine through, and uses this to even out the color until all the old dye has grown out. She uses this every week and has been very happy with the results. And I think she looks beautiful!

So prefacing this by saying that my natural hair is around a lvl 2 or 3 and I have balayage/highlights from my mids to ends that are lvls 9-10. I'd had the urge to go pink for a little bit and this spring decided to take the plunge. I've tried Pravana's purple color enhancer as a toner for brassiness on my platinum hair before and decided to try this pink after doing some research.1) The pink is in between the classic bubblegum cool pink and a warmer rose gold2) You can tone the pink to be cooler/more magenta if you wish by adding a TINY amount of purple shampoo or conditioner. On its own it fades slightly warm, almost rose gold with a tone that will appear more pink or more peachy depending on how light your hair is. If you are not a lvl 9 or 10 platinum blonde then I think this will be more orange/peach than pink3) I applied it to dry hair that was clean. I washed my hair, let it air dry with no product in it and then mixed the color with some fanola bond builder and applied it section by section for evenness4) It smells really good, kind of like flowers and candy so if you are sensitive to smells be aware of that as I could see someone with a sensitive nose hating that5) I used it about 4 weeks ago (I wash my hair twice a week and blow it out maybe once ever 2 weeks) and It has faded BEAUTIFULLY. It was a vibrant pink at first and now its a cool platinum with a slightly pinkish toneCompared to other color depositing conditioners I've tried like Overtone, I think that this has a better color formulation that lasts longer. It also left my hair feeling very soft and hydrated, similar to a deep conditioning mask. The color is not so intense that it'll never get out of your hair, but it definitely does stick around. I suggest you clarify maybe once every other wash if you feel like its starting to get patchy, as that will help even the color out on your blonde.My only critique is that for the amount, it is pricy. I have thick hair down to my nips and had to use the entire bottle for application. If you're hair is longer than that you'll definitely need two of these. However, Pravana color depositing conditioners are known to fade very evenly unlike some competitors like Overtone.

This product is amazing!! I did have to leave it in my hair longer than directed the first time to get the color I wanted. It does last several weeks before I had to reapply. It's easy to use and is not hard on my hair. Definitely will purchase again and use multiple colors.

When I got my hair done it wasn’t as purple as I wanted. Well the salon had these there so I used it and have continued to buy more here on amazon. It has kept my hair vibrant and beautiful for months. I haven’t had to get a touch up for 3 months now. I absolutely love this color enhancer.

Followed directions to the letter. Didn’t keep my silver highlights from turning yellow. After 3 weeks of use, turned my yellowing highlights green (yellow and blue makes green) and in some areas blue. Ridiculous product. Don’t recommend.

This is like an instant toner for silver/grey hair. I really like this product. Only need to apply it once a week or less, depending on your hair!
