I am extremely new to a muzzle and did not want anything huge. This muzzle was comfortable and very easy to adjust! My lab at first did not like it but within minutes he was fine. We used it to do a nail trim and he was still able to pick peanut butter as we trimmed. Excellent choice and thank you to everyone that left positive reviews or I probably wouldn't have tried it. Great product!

I was a little surprised at the way it got, I wasn't expecting the velcro to be on the bottom, which made it for my dog to catch a nail and pull on it in my opinion. But once we got it on him and adjusted, he was ok with it. Being a 5 month old Husky puppy, we needed to curb the chewing and the possibility of nipping the vet. It worked great for that. We just left it in a place he could still reach, lol. He made sure e couldn't use it again by chewing up the buckle and the velcro.Otherwise it worked great, nice fit, he was still able to drink water and pant.

Unfortunately I didn't look before I purchased but I got the extra small. . . I have a pit bull. But I'm ordering another because this would be perfect to stop her nipping as her nails are trimmed.

Bought this for a young Golden Retriever with a hysterical bark over every little thing. She was curious enough to let me put it on her without incident- it really couldn’t be simpler. The Velcro is super strong and the clasp is strong enough that she hasn’t been able to get it off by pawing at it or rubbing her head on the ground. Now that the Velcro on the muzzle is fitted to her, I can slip it on her quickly when she is barking obnoxiously and quickly pull the strap over her head and into place. After three days she understands it’s on because she was barking and when she disengages from whatever she was yodeling about I can pop it off over her ears and off her muzzle without undoing anything, so it’s ready for her next lesson. We don’t use it for more than a few minutes at a time but it’s working great as a training tool to reduce the barking. The large perfectly fit my mid sized Golden Retriever and my yellow lab mix, who has a shorter bit similar circumference snout.

My dog is VERY vocal. She barks during play, she barks whenever you talk to her, when a car horn honks, etc. She barks at anything and everything and nothing at all! Her bark is very loud and high-pitched, and we have a day sleeper in our house. I bought this for her to wear in the house until my son gets up for work at 4:00. It doesn’t stop her from barking as advertised, but it muffles the sound a little. Before you think I just can’t train dogs, we have FOUR dogs and she’s the only incessant barker that refuses to learn. I don’t want to put a zap collar on her, and I definitely won’t rehome her; so this is it until I can find something better.

I really like this muzzle, my dog is going blind and she needs eye drops so we had to muzzle her at first. We have been working with her and no longer need to use the muzzle. I will say that the snout piece is Velcro and the Velcro seems to be losing its Velcro abilities. The material is soft!

I couldn't give any stars for comfort, sturdiness or durability. I put this on my dog, and supervised her. She got it off in about 2 minutes. I then made sure it was very tight. I thought once she got used to it I would give it some slack. She went and laid on her bed. I followed her. She had muzzle off again. I looked for it and couldn't find it. This was because it was still around her neck! She had chewed the muzzle into two pieces.What a waste of money.

A good design, easy to fit on my dog. I think I got a size slightly bigger though, so the velcro overlaps a bit, underneath, but it still works well.

Got it on and the dog had if off withing minutes. Not enough grip to keep it secured.
