Kids love it
I don’t understand why kids love legos. This book & legos were extremely well received by the 4-9 year olds I gave them to. I appreciate the reduced price too. The prices are usually outrageous.

Good for ideas
This book is excellent for ideas but I wish my kids would build more with it.

Good but needs improvement
This is good for anyone who loves to free build with Legos. It has a lot of good ideas in the book with only one problem. It doesn't come with some of the pieces you need to build some of the things it shows you how to make. Some of the pieces needed aren't really common pieces and a lot of people wouldn't just have them on hand. If this gets fixed I would definitely give it a higher ranking.

Need Own Legos - Kids Disappointed
Probably our bad but we definitely thought this came with the Legos needed to do the activities. It came with very few and even those we do have many of our own legos many of the activities were very specialized and we didn’t have the right pieces. Kids were a bit disappointed. I would have gladly paid more for this to come with the right set of pieces as the games looked fun.

Disappointed
All the book has some excellent exercises and games for children, the Lego blocks included were a true disappointment. Very tiny and fewer than You would expect from the photos.

great for any lego lover
I got this for my son who loves Legos and likes building and creating his own stuff with legos. While he enjoys the larger builds, sometimes when he's bored, he likes to tinker and build weird and crazy monsters and vehicles, like I'm sure most kids do. This book gives lots of great ideas and inspires builds and also has fun games/puzzles to complete for kids. My 10 yr old found it very entertaining and flips through the pages to find new ideas and games. Even my 5yr old likes to build and get in on the fun. This would be a great gift for any child who likes legos. I would absolutely order this again and would gift it to any child. I think the age range is pretty wide and this will keep them busy for a long time. This honestly is the idea gift for a Childs birthday that you don't really know well, or a family member who Is hard to shop for. As a family, we have fun picking out pages to do. Some of the challenges are harder for my kids, but thats exactly the point, to challenge them. Love. Love. Love.

Disappointing
Needs many extra pieces. I had thought the pieces included would cover most of what is needed or at least be enough for some of the games - I was wrong. We can't do any activity in the book without more pieces. Also, there is no recommendation for an additional set to buy, so I'm not even sure what I need.. Disappointed!

Fun set for LEGO enthusiasts
As a school librarian I could never keep Lego books on the shelves. I don’t think this one would be any different. The LEGO Games Book by Tori Kosara includes a set of 45 Legos and 50 games/puzzles.The LEGO Games Book would be a good resource for those who run LEGO camps. The activities make good challenges for individuals or small groups. The set would also make a good gift for any LEGO enthusiast.I would not hesitate to add The LEGO Games book to a K-12 Christian school library. The only thing librarians need to be aware of is the set of LEGOs included - you may want to circulate it as a kit.I received a complimentary copy of The LEGO Games book. This is my honest review.

Great gift for children
My grandson ignored all his other Christmas gifts, and sat there reading the book and wanting to start playing games!

Does not include all the pieces needed for the games
The book has lovely ideas but needs many specialist pieces that are not included. I first saw it in the library without any lego and decided to order from Amazon to get the pieces. It was pretty disappointing to find that it doesn't have most of the pieces and there is no indication in the book as to which games can be played with the pieces given.
