Mr Fothergill's 23008 Vegetable Seeds, Runner Bean Moonlight

In 2020 I had a low germination rate with these seeds from Mr F, around 50%, while my Suttons scarlet emperor was 95%. This year, with a new packet of Moonlight from Mr F I was hoping for better things. Alas no, actually 0% germination compared to 90% for my last years Suttons Scarlet Emperor. Not sure if it is the brand l, ie Mr F, or the type, but all seeds planted same day, same medium and cared for the same. Perhaps someone from Mr Fothergills can offer guidance?

Great to get them earlier than expected. Free delivery, but the cost was £4.49 and the price on the packet was £3.85So not so good but would have preferred to know up front what I was paying for

The seeds that germinated and are planted . they just starting to crop . I will see how well they do.

Great beans, germination 100% love this particular stringless bean, grown them for a few years now.You won't be disappointed.!!!!!!!

I use white flowered runner beans as the birds eat the red flowers, these seeds germinated very quickly and are now growing very strong and will be planting them out as soon as the overnight frost finishes
