Foster GrantMen's Braydon Multifocus Reading Glasses

These are probably the best multifocus reading glasses I've found so far. The only issue I have (and this has been consistent with every multifocus reader I've tried) is that there is slight magnification at the top of the lense, causing distant objects to appear blurring. So, I'm still in a situation where I have to constantly look over the top of the frame to see in the distance.

In the past, I have not been able to adapt to progressive reading lenses. But, I wanted to give them another try. While in class or in church, traditional reading glasses have me taking them on and off repeatedly. I also have found bi-focals have their limitations.So, wanting to give progressives another try, I bought these "budget glasses" to try before taking the dive into more expensive glasses and frames. Due to my experience with these, progressive lenses may be the way to go. These glasses are a good value, offer decent clarity and are even stylish!I'm pleased and would buy again.

Great multi focus glasses in a pinch

Very versatile. Comfortable well made frame. Excellent for normal reading and computer use. Not perfect for leaving on continuously. Slight distortion at distance but very good for close up reading.

Multifocal lenses have some distortion in them due to the way that the lenses are manufactured. It's a compromise. That being said, from what I've read online and the images of how this should look there should be a clear area all the way across the top of the lens for distance viewing.These Foster Grant glasses have a significant distortion in the right lens that goes all the way to the top. The left lens doesn't seem to have this issue or at least it isn't significant. This causes me some issues as I have two monitors on my desk and for reading on the right side, it blurs my vision. When I look left I don't notice this. I have laser corrected vision and I can see perfectly at a distance, but have recently needed to wear some 1.25 readers for up close work or reading books. This distortion isn't a problem with my eyes, it's in the lens. I can hold these glasses up in front of my monitor and see where it distorts text on the right side of the right lens at the top.I thought that by spending a little more on Foster Grant glasses that I'd be getting an optically correct lens, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I've since found a few other Amazon reviews for other FG multifocal readers that seem to indicate that they may have a common problem with the right lens. Due to that, I'm going to return these and try to find some other brand or go back to my 'end of the nose' drugstore readers.

I've used these for years (8). They will scratch over time, but at $35.00 a pair, it's no comparison to $500.00 for new prescription glasses. I've purchased prescription glasses twice with no satisfaction due to edge distortion. I'll stick with these forever.

I also wish I could order a pair with 0 distance help for distance at the top. Would be great if I glanced over at the TV while reading or on the computer and could see properly. Otherwise great glasses. I like the way the arms are attached to the frame on this model. The last pair broke at the weld. Let me know when O distance is available and I'll order another pair immediately.

Son multifocales, la distancia cercana está perfecta al igual que la intermedia, pero la distancia lejana tiene aumento. No debería de tener nada de aumento. Ese es el único pero muy importante detalle.

Excelente producto, puedo ver la televisión, leer y ver mi celular sin problemas

Sirven para ver la computadora, celular, tableta, manejar y te acostumbras en un par de días a usarlos.
