I've ordered several different grits for my chickens but these are the right size. They are small enough but not as small as chick grit. I found the other brands to come in huge pieces. These are perfect and my chickens are using it. The larger grit used to sit untouched.

It's a must have if you have chickens. Chickens need it to break down their food. It's high quality and I just put it in a bowl in their cage and they peck at it when they need it. It's a small bag but it does last for 13 chickens about a month or more.

I’m really happy with this chicken grit. I’ve used some grit that is so powdery, it turns to mud. This one is substantial and my and really seems to agree with my chickens. I also like that it is all mined in the US.

The grit was a good size…..bigger than chick grit but smaller than typical adult poultry grit. It was a bit powdery but other than that it is great grit.

If you have chickens and they are not free range. You really need to buy chicken grit. That is a very important thing that they need to help digest their food. They have different size grits for different size chickens so be careful and make sure you choose the right size grit for your chickens. We all love our chick babies.
