Awesome!!
This is just what my department needed! I'm impressed with the way it works and happy with the way it helps make our job easier.

Works perfectly
This is a great tool for wrapping gifts. It works one-handed and the length of tape is dependent on how much you need. One squeeze (and release) gives you 3.5 centimeters of tape but you can get more by just laying it on the paper and rolling it across the seam while still holding the lever. To cut the tape, release the lever on the handle. It's that simple.

Decent tape gun
I like this tape gun, it works really well! The tape that comes with it is really clear, however not always the stickiest. The gifts I wrapped often had the tapped ends pop up, but all in all it’s really decent.

This version is crap - buy the Surebonder one
About a decade ago, I purchased a no-name dispenser like this at Staples (blue). It was an excellent time-saver, but I wanted another to use in our craft area. Staples doesn't sell these anymore, so I bought this one (purple). It's comparatively terrible. Within just the first three tries, the tape gets jammed easily - even after replacing the tape already installed. The trigger also gets stuck, causing me to have to pull it back out again. It just doesn't work like what I'm used to. My search began again, and I discovered Surebonder (pink).I began to note the differences between the Eagle/generic version and the Surebonder/generic version:1) On the underside, Surebonder says "Patent Pending" while Eagle has multiple patent numbers.2) On the front, Surebonder does NOT have a smoothing roller above the tape exit, while Eagle does.3) The amount of tape in Surebonder's version is almost double that of Eagle's, and it is better quality.Unfortunately, Surebonder doesn't sell this dispenser on Amazon - but I think you can use Amazon Pay on their website and buy it there. For once, don't buy this new and (un)improved, patented version. It's not worth it.
