Aircast A60 Ankle Support Brace, Left Foot, Black, Small (Shoe Size: Men's 4 - 7 / Women's 5 - 8.5)

Prescribed by an orthopedic doc, bought it for my mother who has obesity and arthristis issues... to help her deal with arthritis related ankle pain. Had initially bought only for right foot as the pain was primarily in right foot. My mother stopped using it coz it was uneven and she felt discomfort while walking as it wouldn't fit in her orthopedic footwear. Thought it is just another fancy but useless product. But then, watching her deal with her pain compelled me to try out different things. One of those things was to buy the left brace as well. After buying the left foot brace and changing the ortho-footwear, I forced her to try it out again. It came as a pleasant surprise... she wouldn't take it off. Earlier she had trouble walking distance of more than 50m. Now she wears it over 6 - 8 hours in a day and walks around quite a bit. Has helped immensely. She is elderly and needs help to wear it. But this is quite easy to wear. She wears it herself at times when I'm not around because of my travel. Product quality is pretty good too. Would recommend it. A bit pricey, but worth it. Have not taken a pic of it yet while in use. Will upload it when I do.

I like it, I may buy for my other foot also after testing this one for a few more days

Seal was damaged and I doubt the genuity of product as seal was broken and no product packaging .

I Had FHL tendonitis and a doc recommended this to me and within a week of usage my medial malleolus started paining on physical touch, thanks to the stiff bars it has on both the sides! I'm surprised, how sportsperson are using this? (If they are actually using)

This is my 2nd of these braces. I wore one daily after a severe ankle sprain. Found out this brace, for me, was a " God Send " ! First surgery was unsuccessful, so after healing period, back in this brace. Still wearing daily pre upcoming total ankle replacement surgery....I highly recommend this brace as it kept my extremely weak ankle / foot from the terribly painful " turning in " motion. I also washed this brace in my washing machine, gentle quick cycle & air dried. Came out perfect ! UPDATE: once again wore this brace , for ankle security at 5-6 months, post op Total Ankle Replacement after cast, tensors, crutches , Air walking boot etc. usage was finished. Now at 11 months & no brace required . This brace definitely helped me in my recovery until I once again felt secure enough in walking without any ankle bracing at all. 😀
