Smooth ride
Having been an avid spinner for years in gyms finally decided to get this echelon bike based on all the good reviews. Was packed very well and easy to put together between 2 people. The ride is amazingly smooth and the bike is solid!I see all the reviews about an uncomfortable seat, but all spin bikes have uncomfy seats, invest for minimal cost in a gel seat for better comfort. We ended up downloading the Qdomyos Zwift bike app on a tablet and the bike immediately paired with it. Great for tracking your results on each ride. I ride to U tube classes and my husband just likes a pair of earbuds and his own music. My only minor complaint is not being able to move the handlebars forward or back but of course they go up and down. The pedals come with clips and cages and the clips accepted our spin shoes perfectly. Weve been riding it daily for 3 weeks and we are very happy with this purchase!!

Nice bike. Easy assembly
I had Amazon deliver to my apartment no issues and I am so thankful because the box is heavy. Assembly took about 1hr 15 mins with two people. The box comes with a hex key and wrench. The instructions are clearly written and you can also access their YouTube channel for additional guidance on assembly.I haven’t had many issues connecting the bike to the app, and when I do, I just restart the app and it works. I had to contact customer support about my free trial and they were able to set it up no problem. The app gives you access to trainers with both recorded videos and live sessions. I’m not gonna lie - the classes are… challenging if you haven’t cycled before. The bike comes with two water bottle holders and a dumbbell holder. It is very quiet when I am pedaling. Like other reviewers noted, the seat is uncomfortable. I am thinking of getting a replacement. Otherwise, a great bike with minimal issues.

A Very Solid Bike!
I bought this bike recently in an effort to stay out of the gym and create my own home gym. I’ve been doing spin classes for years and have always loved a spin workout. The bike is very solid and resembles bikes I’ve used at the gym. The seat was very uncomfortable so I purchased a replacement seat on Amazon for 25 bucks and it made a world of difference (a super easy fix). I’ve been doing classes on the Echelon app for a couple of weeks now and I’m finding that I’m getting a great workout. The app itself has a couple of glitches and the instructors are just OK, but with that being said, I’m still happy with my workouts. I purchased the EX3 and if I could do it over I think I would have sprung for the EX5 for the sole reason that the EX3 does not have front to back handle bar adjustments. They are in the fixed position and although you can move your seat forward, I find that I would be a little more comfortable with the handle bars closer. I am 5’4” but for women who are smaller, or have shorter arms, it would be even more important to be able to make this adjustment. My husband suggested that we look into handle bar bar extenders which may do the trick. My favorite things about the bike are the ease of an in-home workout (You can throw something in the oven, do a half hour workout and your dinner is ready when you get off the bike), the leaderboard that pushes me past my edge and gives me a better workout and the option of either doing a live class or a pre-recorded class that still has the leaderboard and your ranking. Overall I am pleased with my purchase but I do feel that for 1000 bucks, they should have given me the front to back handle bar adjustment.

Delivered late and defective - awful/non exist ant support from Amazon
First off the product itself. - assembly was a little but of a pain - not as simple as other bikes I have owned or assembled- but not terrible just tike consuming.Packaged in a way that you cannot truly inspect the unit until youve gone through about 1/2 the assemblySo I take the 120 lb pkg upstairs to my workout room to assemble the bike and once it is to the assembly portion where I can actually turn the pedals to spin the flywheel - I can see WOW major flywheel defect - arguably one of the most critical portions of the bike that does require perfect machining for a smooth ride experience .Of course no way to contact anyone at Amazon a out it — the lively phone run around and chat bot nightmare. When selecting the item was damaged - no option to have it replaced/repaired literally my options were to return or watch how to videos — and so naturally I selected return — I can’t imagine there is a how to video of how to smooth a poorly machined flywheelTo return j have to rebid the entire thing myself and take to UPS. — unpacking/assembly was a 1-2 hr process. I have no clue how long it would take to try to repackage given the amount t of metal braces and holders have to go back on — aside from following the unpack directions backwards nothing is there to legit tel me how to box it for return .— and then what I get another one sent and have to spend another 2 hrs assembling it? Who has the time to do this on an $800 bike that has supposedly passed a QC check prior to being sentI contacted echelon service which has also proven to mot be helpful - so I guess I hope I never have a warranty issue?Honestly I am not a fan of peloton but their customer service is better than this by far - this has been my worst ever Amazon experience and Amazon should be ashamed to have marked this as a “prime” item. When return is going to require me to spend 2-3 hrs revising something putting a 120lb package into my car then taking that 130lb box out of my car carrying it into the UPS store just to return it. — especially when Amazon failed to offer any actual product support - shame on you Amazon. And shame on echelon got the poor craftsmanshipsecondly the delivery nightmare with Amazon logistics —. After SCHEDULING a delivery window — my product didn’t come and no one notified me. Per Amazon policy they would reach our proactively with any delays BEFORE the late delivery. I had to spend >1 hr on the phone with Amazon after the scheduled delivery was entirely missed /- and no one could figure out where my package was — 3 hrs after the schedule time it still said it was going to be delivered during that scheduled window and “well if our delivery team doesn’t update this we wont be able to know” was the response — not my problem as the consumer — Amazon logistics problem. Figure your stuff out so you can support tour customers and fulfill your obligations within your stated policies .So the wasted day off work bc no one showed up with my bike forced a reschedule on a weekend where I had to mess up my plans to be back to accept delivery when I was out of town originally (bc I wasn’t about to take another day off work). Per their policy I would get a call 30 min before arrival —. Nope didn’t happen. I guess there is no expectation for people working for Amazon logistics deliveries to actually adhere to their internal policies and customer service requirements. They delivered it into my garage - not my front door which presumably my husband told them was fine bc since they didn’t call - I was 10 min away from my house running an errand knowing I did not exceed a radius that would prevent me from being there for delivery if I had received a 30 min warning call. So pretty unacceptable in my opinion. (Side note products delivered by other parties such as Best Buy (purchased through Amazon) I have NEVER had these issues with

So stoked on this!
Love my new bike. Winters here in MA can get pretty nasty; having an indoor bike is clutch to keep me fit and get me through so Spring rides aren't starting at Square One. This bike is perfect - super easy to setup, jumped right on the app and have been crushing workouts across the lineup with the all-access free trial that comes with. Lovin' it!, couldn't be happier. Get one!, let's ride! :)

Works well
Enjoy using the bike. It was easy to put together and is fairly quiet. There’s an audible clicking noise from the flywheel when pedalling sometimes but it doesn’t bother me too much. Didn’t like the echelon app for iOS so I installed a third party app to get cadency and resistance information instead.

Can't beat the price, and delivered to my home.
Best price in the Galaxy.....I checked around and could not get it for less. Even used units were selling for more.

Horrible application
I purchased this bike about 14 months ago. Bike is fine a bit overpriced, however the application to connect to bike and use it is horrible. It doesn’t support Garmin watch, every activity must be added manually to your day if you’re participating in the Garmin challenges. Now this application stopped to save results and stats from your ride.It is a shame to offer such a poor looking and working application with bike what is in the high rated exercise equipment.

Keeps disconnecting mid ride
Unsafe - Bike keeps disconnecting mid ride and dropping resistance to zero from over 20. This happens multiple times. Have checked firmware etc.Would not buy again

after using the bike for 5 rides, everytime I change the resistance it doesn't work.the echelon app is good, but the bike doesn't work properly and can't hold resistance.
