Good Looking Boots which didn't fit my foot shape
My first impression, on opening the box, was that these shoes looked great. They have a very distinct style, chocolate coloured suede on a bright white sole. I was really keen to get them out of the box and try them on. It took a while, because of all the fillers and the laces were tied quite firmly, but eventually I managed to get them on.Unfortunately that was where the problems began for me. Whilst the soles were very comfy, they also seem to point forwards quite steeply, so the toes were significantly lower than the heel. Whilst this felt comfortable when I was sat still, it became a bigger issue when I started to walk and caused my arches to immediately start aching. They were also quite narrow, and I found that every time I made a step, my little toes did not have enough room to fully rest on the sole, with the result that my little toes got pushed up with every step. I bought both 9.5 and 10UK, and found that whilst the 10 was comfier because it had the width for my toes, there was also a significant amount of empty space beyond my toes which felt ungainly. If you have wide feet, and need some arch support, you may want to think twice about these. It was a real shame, because they are fantastic looking shoes and I would have loved to have kept them, but in the end I returned for a refund.

size and fit True to size bit narrow
Hi. Just wanted to do a quick review of these boots.I usually take an UK8 sometimes an 8.5 depending on brand. I never had Rockport before, and after reading other reviews, which stated that the are quite narrow i a ended up buying a 8.5. They actually fitted quite good, but they were just a little to long for me and yes they are a bit narrow, but i do have a standard to wide foot, so i expected this. They do have a removable insole, which i took out to relieve the narrowness but then the were to long. LOL.Anyways, i returned the 8.5 and got an 8 which fitted perfectly, although still narrow for me, so again i took out the insole which made them less narrow and that fixed my problem. They do run true to size and look very very nice i like them a lot.But due to my wide feet i don't think i could ware them for long periods of time also i have a touch of arthritis in my toes so that doesn't help, but the boots still new and quite firm at the moment and i do feel that they will loosen up after some ware.I really like them and will be keeping them I got them for a wedding and they look great with my suit.I would recommend them, they are true to size but for wide feet they are a wee bit tight. (but should stretch with time)Hope this helps someone :)

Function and form
Having had knee surgery I was advised to look for footwear with extra shock absorption and saw the Rockport Total Motion Control series highly recommended. What I really like is that although they have serious cushioning they still look great, and not simply like a pair of trainers with a leather or suede upper. Fits perfectly (I’m a size 10, occasional 10.5 and went for the 10s). All in all I’m very pleased.

Very comfortable
Very comfortable but I don’t know how robust they will be.I’m a UK 9 and I have ordered Rockports before in aUK 9 and had to return them as they were too big. I ordered these in a UK 8 and they fit perfect with thin socks however a thick pair would leave them tight. They are priced around the same as timberlands so look for sales and offers.

Light weight and comfortable
These Rockport Chukka boots look nice and with a flat springy training shoe type of sole are light weight and comfortable. Fit is more or less as expected, but the width is not as generous as other Rockport boots I've had in the past (Ledge Hill's), which was a bit disappointing – not uncomfortable, just a bit too snug for my liking. But overall a nice casual pair of boots – not sure they'll last long though.

Comfy and lightweight but let down by sole materials.
The boots are very comfortable and lightweight. However the soles are made of a foam like material so haven't lasted well at all, due to this material they have gone smooth and are too dangerous to wear as they have become very slippery on anything but dry pavement. It's a pity as I really liked wearing them but for the price the soles really let them down, I would have expected more from Rockport boots.

Very comfy if at the right price
Normally size 10UK. Ordered 10 and fit perfectly. Lovely and comfortable. Springy sole and soft uppers more like slippers joined to trainers. Got mine on offer. Full price would be a bit steep IMHO.

Light, robust and comfortable
Having used Rockport shoes in past I knew that these boots would be light, comfortable and am sure will last for many years, the soles wear very well and will outlast upper
