Great set
Great set for the money. I have only used on a 4cyl diesel but it work as it should.

Not as advertised
Does NOT FIT 3208!

The adapter for the 6.6L lb7 duramax hits the block body before it tightens up
An lb7 glow plug has more distance between the threads and the hex head. The duramax adapter for the lb7 has a shorter distance and the size of the hex head is larger. So the hex head hits the block rather than tightening and having the hex head above the block like the glow plug. Will likely have to buy another adapter for proper fit.

Let me set the record straight on this kit and the check valve situation:
THERE IS A CHECK VALVE IN LINE WITH THE GAUGE! (Schrader style in between quick connect fitting and the hose). So, so many Chinese diesel compression testers have no check valve whatsoever. Sure, you can buy an aftermarket npt check valve to retrofit, but my point is, without a check valve, a compression tester is useless.I'm a mechanic and in my personal collection I have a 7.3L powerstroke, a 4 cylinder Perkins, and a 6-71 Detroit Diesel. This kit has such a broad coverage it will cover these engines and many more. Almost every modern diesel made in the past 50 years far as I can tell. I've only tested this on my 7.3L powerstroke, and I'll update the review as I gain experience with it.I would recommend replacing the dial gauge itself right off the bat. It has a 1000psi range, like most diesel compression testers soon, but I have yet to see a diesel come close to 600psi. Anyway, my point is, pick up a liquid filled 1/8 npt 600psi gauge, and you will GREATLY improve this tester, as the gauge will be much more readable and it will be easy to discern the difference between say, 320psi and 380psi. Can't do that with the goofy 1000psi gauge. I bought a 600 psi liquid filled gauge off of eBay.One of the three hoses in the lid is intended for a powerstroke 7.3L, with the M10x1.0 thread. THE HOSE IS TOO THICK. It is POSSIBLE to use it (I did so in a Econoline van, no less), but it rubs hard against the rocker arm, to the point where you are concerned about stripping the delicate brass M10 threads. I bought a 7.3L adapter hose off of eBay, which uses a thinner 1/8npt hose (grease gun hydraulic hose, basically) and that clears very well. While I haven't used all the adapters, the machining on all of them seem very good.I REALLY LIKE that this kit uses typical 1/4" NPT quick connect air hose fittings, which you can readily find anywhere and adapt to anything with a little know-how.SO YES, BOTTOM LINE I would recommend this kit, but buy a different liquid filled 1/4" npt gauge dial with a more usable 600psi range, and at least for the 7.3L, buy the 7.3L adapter hose on eBay for $20 some dollars. (also where I got my gauge).
