Screws supplied with this unit for installation are NOT tempered.
The overall features of the safe are ok. The internal area that the locking mechanism requires is substantial and makes most of the middle shelf unusable. There is no way to reduce the noise that the keypad emits when you are pushing the keys during the opening process and it is quite loud. Definitely would be an improvement if it had a silent mode. Also, given the price of this unit, I think that the company could provide tempered screws for the installation. How much more could it possibly cost, another 25 cents? I'm sure that most installers would use a drill/driver to install the screws. DON'T!! You will gut the heads of the screws if you do. Either pre-drill to install them manually or obtain some tempered screws. You'll thank me.

Pin code stops working!!
After a year with minimal use, the pin code just stops working. I would click the reset button to clear out the pin and set a new one, it accepts the new code, but does not unlock when entered. This is so frustrating!!

Easy to install, thought it would be deeper and the door would feel more secure.

Cheap crap!
I would avoid at all cost! Cheap Chinese crap. Arrived in non-working condition. Took it apart and saw the problem and had to straighten out a piece of metal to make it work. The batteries that came with it were smashed by something. I mean, WOW! Seek another manufacturer.
