I have these installed in some IBC totes to generate air flow and keep the water from getting stagnant. These work great.

I wish they would sell the pump and its wire extra. [Edit: Probably battery.] Solar panel + battery and controller is probably still good, I am guessing, but the system is bricked after 12 months. Because panel has a modular connector on the wire, it would be easy to swap out the pump + wire when the pump burns out. I don't need a new airhose.When it worked, it worked pretty well. A little weak for a serious pond, but just right for my 7' backyard water-feature pond.I really like the idea of having a battery inside the solar cell, so that the unit runs at night. This is why I bought this unit, instead of a cheaper one that only runs when the sun is out.EDIT: Have to buy a new one every year, probably because the battery burns out. Third unit. I like these because the battery built in to the solar cell lets it run past evening into the night. But the manufacturer should really make the battery case unscrew so the battery can switch out. Also, the screws on the back of the solar cell are not stainless steel, and their slots rust solid after only a year outdoors--seriously??? Code: Green: on High; Dark Blue: on Low; Cyan: Intermittent. Use Cyan to keep the unit bubbling longer into the night. Also note the outlets (bubble stones) have to be at the same depth, or only one operates. In general I don't like the cheap spherical bubble-stones, and have replaced them with two bubble hoses, but it still gives problems for one of them cutting out due to pressure disparities due to depth differences. But at least the system works.

I bought this, installed in my pond, it worked great for 2 months & then it quit working. I have to tell potential buyers that I don’t recommend this product. By the time I figured out how bad it was, it was too late to return but I assumed it would last longer than 2 months. Don’t waste your money on this product!

I set up an experimental solar hydroponic system using two 5-gallon buckets. This solar pump is powerful enough to aerate both buckets. The beans are happily growing in one, and a cuke in the other. The panel is large enough to keep the aeration going for quite a while. We do gets lots of sun here in the tropics and this pump is already going at 7 a.m. and still going strong at 6:30 p.m. The SUNSBELL SOLAR POND PUMP (Amazon) was crap. All three of mine petered out within a week. This one, LANCOON SOLAR PUMP, is still going strong. And it's inexpensive, too.

The solar pump works, but it's misleading. There is one hose, not two. And to put the aerator down in the water the hose should be 3 or 4 feet longer.

For a small pond

My first solar aerator for my tiny 10 gallon fish "pond." The fish and I were very happy with the bubbler all summer. Unfortunately, the first week of September, the pump did not have the strength to push bubbles through the air stone. I have ordered another brand of solar air pump--I do love solar powered gadgets--and we shall see. This pump was great...until it wasn't.

Lässt sich einfach installieren , Geringer Geräuschpegel : In 3 m Abstand hört man die Pumpe fasst nicht mehr. Habe zur Staubsicherung einen D-Strumpf und zu Regensicherung eine kleinen , nach unten offenenPlastikbeutel übergezogen. Ist die Modeschaltung auf grün , lädt zuerst der Akku , dieser gibt dann die Energie frei : hier deutlich mehr Luftumwälzung als nur über Mode blau . Belüfte damit meine 1000l Gartenteich.
