I was extremely skeptical purchasing this without seeing it in person. Was concerned of the quality, the color variance from the photos, shipping condition, etc. This product has exceeded all of my expectations! The bed is wonderful! Color is perfect! It is sturdy and well constructed. Quality materials and the design is well thought out for the novice DIY’er! I cannot say enough good things! It took me from unpacking to completion just under 30 minutes to construct! Everything lined up as it should, all the bolt holes, clips, braces, etc. all fit correctly! The slats install quickly, are laid out properly, and are strong, solid wood. Headboard is well padded with solid fill. Honestly, I am so excited to have my expectations exceeded by such a great margin on this purchase! Way to go Zinus! You really did a great job with the design, constructing, packing and shipping this product! Even all the components are designed to fit and shipped inside the back of the headboard. The back cover has a zipper, you open it and all the rails, boards, slats, blots, and padded side boards are all there! I will be purchasing more products from Zinus! You cannot go wrong!

I ordered this bed frame a few days ago and just received it. I am happy to say that ordering, receiving, and assembling this bed frame was a pleasant experience. First of all, this frame is very easy to assemble. There is a detailed and easy to follow assembling manual. I have had a couple of self-assembled bed frames before, but it always annoyed me because it made a squeaking noise. It is a pleasant surprise that this bed frame doesn't make a sound at all. I also really like the cushion that supports my back whenever I lead against the bed frame -- the firmness and height of the cushion works perfectly well for me when I watch TV in my bedroom or work on my laptop on my bed. I can also say that it looks really nice! It is basically the same as pictured and it definitely does not look like a cheap bed frame. I am extremely satisfied with the whole experience that I already recommended this product to my friends. I have been super happy with Zinus products and looking forward to explore more.

It came in one box that seemed too small to fit a bed, but everything was packed cleverly in the headboard. I put this bad boy together in 30 minutes (I cheated a lil' with a cordless drill). I was so pleasantly surprised at how sturdy the bed was. The headboard is plush. The navy fabric looks great. This is my second Zinus bed and I must say they do a great job with design, quality, and clever assembly at a great price!

This bed was packaged beautifully. I bought it for my 15 yr. old son who is 6'. It was extremely easy to put together. I did it myself with little help. 3 pieces of advice. 1. Search in amazon Zinus Shalini bed, the video on how to put it together is the same for this bed. Scroll thru in slow mode. 2. You only need the 5 "L" screws to put the metal frame together. The other screws are not to be used. They're only use is as an example. 3. Don't fully tighten any screws all the way at once. Go around the bed and tighten them a liitle at a time. Hope this makes sense. The bed looks awesome. My son loves it.

Overall the assembly was easy compared to what I am used to at Ikea. It is actually 10x easier and quicker. Using a power drill definitely speeds up the process.The only reason I didnt give this 5 stars is because the actual color is a bit different then what is pictured. Its more of a darker jean material and doesn't fit my room as well as the color pictured would but I guess thats a lighting issue when taking the picture.Anyway its pretty, sturdy. A great part of this is that it holds the slats in place with velcro so it wont move around like on ikea stuff.Also remember the mattress sits on top of the frame - you don't put the mattress into the frame.

I am extremely happy with my purchase. I wasn't really skeptical to buy it because it had good reviews to begin with. I just want to add mine now! It came in one single box, the whole bed was tucked inside the headboard. Less then a week. It took me 45 minutes to assemble. It was so easy I couldn’t even believe it. It’s very sturdy. All the pieces fit without flaws. I wish I didn’t pay over a $1,000 for my last upholstered bed I bought at Eldorado furniture which I can almost compare it to. I only paid $200 for this one.If you want something simple, inexpensive, and delivers fast, I recommend Zinus brand bed frames.

This bed is wayyyy better than the Home Life Upholstered head board bed I had to return. The side board broke in half on that bed. But this bed is so sturdy it does not sway back and forth when I get into the bed and does not move with me when I roll over in my sleep. Definitely worth the money and I would actually consider it a steal. Super easy to put together the handy ratchet tool made tightening the screws a breeze and the metal frame basically guarantees a long lasting bed. My mattress is a Crystal Cove from Brentwood Homes. so its very heavy but this bed doesn't miss a beat.

Bought a few beds from amazon for my new house and this one was the most sturdiest and easiest to put together. All you have to do is unscrew, attach the pieces and screw it back on. No more trying to figure out which screws and washer you need. I also love the fact that there are no leg in the middle of the side of the bed where you end up constantly kicking. I highly recommend this bed to anyone looking to purchase a nice, sturdy, medium height platform bed.

We are very impressed with the quality of this bed head and frame. It looks great and it is very sturdy.The description of how to assemble the bed is simple and accurate. Impressive tool is included. Extremely well packaged. We received the shipment ahead of the date scheduled. The fabric and colour are more beautiful than what we expected. We are very pleased with our choice and outcome decor of our bedroom.

I still can’t believe I assembled this. When I saw the large box it arrived in I felt a bit nervous as I am not crafty at all. However, I am patient and methodical when it’s needed, and I went slowly step by step following the very clear instructions and ended up with a bed! It took me about 4 hours including a lunch break in the middle. The bed is nicer and sturdier than I expected. In fact I like it so much I am going to redecorate my bedroom so I can show it off. And ... bonus ... I can finally dispense with my old box spring! Highly recommended.

I am extremely happy with this product. I ordered the blue king size upholstered bed. The packaging was so well thought out and perfect. It was doubled boxed for protection. The fabric was colour perfect and excellent upholstery fabric. The instructions were easy and excellent. It took a while to set up. I used my drill a bit but mostly the rachet that they sent with the product. Extremely sturdy. I will upload a picture once styled. I would 100% recommend this product. The company is doing an outstanding product. Thank you Zinus!

I am so happy that I purchased this bed. I bought the Zinus brand because my son recommended it. All the pcs come in one box. There is a zipper at the back of the headboard and everything fits into that. Wow, so ingenious. The slats are really good quality as well. I am a 60 year old female widow and I assembled this all by myself. Unbelievable! The instructions were great and easy to follow. The bed is really nice and the colour is really really nice! I would definitely recommend buying Zinus to all!

only thing I have to complain about is a whit streak on the head bord after it was pulled out of the box
