Again, always have a backup. A capacitor fails when it feels like it and failure can't be predicted, especially in Florida. I used my backup, and reordered. Florida isn't fun without air conditioning.

Hey, it is a capacitor, does what it is supposed to do and inexpensive compared to the clowns at the HVAC supply who refuse to sell to anyone outside the trade. I now get all my HVAC parts online. You dont need a branded capacitor at 4x the price. Just match the values and approximate size and it will work just as well.

These are OEM replacement capacitors for my Carrier AC. I always keep a spare on hand as this is the common failure I experience at 3 year intervals.

Although this works as advertised it wasn't the quick fix I was hoping for. I had to run to the nearest Grainger to get the part I needed. In retrospec, Grainger would have been a better place (cheaper) to buy this as well.
