Western ChiefWaterproof Mid Rain Boot

These are Wonderful.
Fit perfect. I read most of the reviews and I want to SAY THIS. STOP TAKING YOUR RAINBOOTS OFF WITH YOUR FEET THAT IS WHY THEY ARE SPLITTING AND NOT LASTING LONG. YOUR PULLING ON THE RUBBER AND TEARING IT. USE YOUR HANDS TO REMOVE YOUR BOOTS AND THEY WILL LAST. Im happy with them and I did check the seams and they look nice and tight. But I use my hands to take them off not my other foot.... Try that I bet they will last a LONG TIME.

Great purchase
Got these for my mom for gardening etc. she loves them! They are light. I was a bit worried about the size because she’s 9 1/2 on shoes. I read these run a bit big so I got the 9 and they fit perfectly. They are wide at the top end so they are super easy for her to put them in and take them out.

Problems With Finding Boots? Here Is The Solution
I have never been able to find rainboots that fit because of how they are cut around the higher calf of the leg. So, to be honest, when I ordered these boots, I expected to send them back like all the others. I was thrilled when that wasn't the case. These boots were easy to slip on and off. I leave them in the garage so I can step in them and go, then step out of them before going in my home. They fit well. I normally wear an 8 1/2, so I did go up to a 9 which allows me to wear cozy socks comfortably. So if you have had the same problem, I highly recommend these boots. They are cute, comfortable, and convient.

I love the design but quality is terrible
I bought these to use going to my chicken coop. I go out a few times a day but totally daily wear time is probably 15-20 minutes. After 30 days the soles are separating from the boots. My feet are wet in a short time if it's raining or the ground is wet at all. Not Pleased At All

Might as well wear flip flops…
This pair of boots arrived today. I was thrilled. But I opened they box and discovered they had filthy soles. Not to be discouraged, I was willing to overlook that. I just wanted to get outdoors with dry feet. Just as soon as I'd pulled them out of the box and cut the tags off, I put them on and stepped out onto the lawn. It took seconds before my feet were wet. I thought at first I was imagining it, that I was only feeling the cold. Nope, when I stepped inside and took them off, I discovered my heels were soaked. I looked closely at the boots and found there are little splits in the welt, and a hole behind the label on the back that defeat the purpose of wearing a boot at all. Had these been a pair of boots with any utility, I'd have been thrilled. They were cute, comfortable, fit well, and they were adequately warm. But they will not keep your feet dry. You might as well wear flip flops. I am so disappointed, and I'm disgusted that I have to take the time and energy to package this garbage up and drive 10 miles to get them to a UPS drop-off, just so they can be re-sold to some other unsuspecting sucker. There ought to be some sort of recourse in cases like this. They're costing me more than if I'd never ordered them at all.

Make sure they are actually water tight!!
A month in and the boot has already split at the seam. It may have always been like that and I just haven't stepped in a puddle deep enough to realize it. Hard rain today and I come back from walking my dog with one entirely soaked foot. Of course, I realize it a week after my return window closed. I loved the boot until today. If you do order (the fit is great), put them on in the bathtub or something to make sure they are actually water tight. Learn from my mistake.

Fits larger calves
I have large calves, and very few boots will fit me. I tried on a pair at a brick and mortar store, but the only sizes available were sz6 and sz10. I wear a sz8. So I turned to Amazon. My size was in stock, so I ordered a sz8. The shaft fits my calves! I will say that the footbed portion is just a little too large. A thick pair of socks solved this problem. As a resident of the Pacific Northwest I frequently need to wear waterproof shoes, and very seldom can I find boots that fit. So far, so good. One CAUTION: Always wear socks with rubber boots to avoid blisters. These are no exception.

Stress breaks where it bends
Bought these last June for use in my small backyard garden to protect my socks from water and weed seeds as I do my gardening. They worked great for a year and then I realized my socks were getting wet because huge holes were opening up in the front area where they bend every time I walk. I like my purchases to last longer than that, so I'll be exploring different brands in the future.

Love the look
I love the look, they seem to be made sturdy, they are comfortable to wear. They fit as expected, I normally wear a 5.5 but the boot is not a sloppy fit. I can wear a thick sock in them.

Love my new boots !!
These boots are so pretty. They fit more like a shoe would , I take a size 8 1/2 in a shoe I bought these in an 8 and they are perfect. I like the flower print also ❤️

Justo lo que necesitaba
Justo lo que necesita mi chica, ademas si ella tiene pantorrilla grande ajustan sin mayor problema. Ella las recomienda. Eso si solo para cuando llueve, no son para el día a día.

Decorative not Functional
I could hardly wait for my boots, they were so pretty when I opened the box. Unfortunately they are too big. I ordered a 6 and I am a 6.5 so was worried they would be too small. I ended up putting a sock slipper in one and a thick sock in the other. Then it rained and I put on my boots to go do yard work but my boots were so filled with water that I would have been safer in bare feet,I literally poured water out of them. But they sure are pretty.
