Good storage and high-speed for recording and writing

It's ok for U3 and Samsung, the price is fine for under £50 and the capacity. The packet says "up to 90MB/s", but it's probably almost always going to be the close to the minimum for its class (30MB/s), which should be perfectly fine for most people and it's still capable of recording in 4k, etc. Read speed says "up to 100MB/s", that's also quite far off the reality I had; not bad, but not great.Is it the best one out there? Probably not, but it's not going to be the worst.

Great Product

Reviewing the 128GB version of this card.There are a number of bad reviews here, so it's possible that some cards are fake, or perhaps people are basing the speed on a slow SD card reader. However, I have just fully tested this card using the native SD card slot on my iMac (via the included SD card adaptor). Whilst I didn't quite get the quoted speeds, they were very impressive and close enough to confirm that the card is genuine and is exactly as advertised.Quoted speeds for this card:100MB/s read and 50MB/s writeMy tests using f3 on OSX:Writing---Average writing speed: 47.72 MB/sReading---Data OK: 119.33 GB (250259966 sectors)Data LOST: 0.00 Byte (0 sectors)Corrupted: 0.00 Byte (0 sectors)Slightly changed: 0.00 Byte (0 sectors)Overwritten: 0.00 Byte (0 sectors)Average reading speed: 88.96 MB/sThe card is performing above U3 standards of 30MB/s.Some other reviewers are also marking the card down due to the formatted capacity being less than advertised. This is not a fault, it is down to the fact that different partition types have an overhead that uses capacity. For an example, simply search "exfat overhead" for thousands of explanations of how computers store data.Overall, this is a great card (so far anyway), and I would not hesitate in recommending it.

The Samsung Evo Select 128GB was £15.99 at the time of this review whilst the equivalent Sandisk Extreme is £24.59The Samsung Evo Select has a peak read/write speed of 98.15/64.17 MB/sThe more expensive Sandisk Extreme has a peak read/write of 96.48/87.24 MB/s for comparison.When formatted, you get 119GB of storage.Reliability wise, only time will tell how long these cards will last. I have yet to have a Sandisk card fail on me and hope the Samsung cards will last just as long.For devices that wont make use of the extra speed such as the Nintendo Switch or certain digital cameras (my Canon M100 for example) this card offers great value for money and a better alternative to the Sandisk Ultra cards. The Samsung Evo Select is even a serious contender to the Sandisk Extreme cards based on my testing so far.

Easy to install & easy to negotiate to locate data.

Had to format this SD card before I could use it in my dash cam. Other than that, it works well.

Ya hace varios años que compre esta tarjeta de memoria. Hasta la fecha no me ha dado ningún problema ni aprecio problemas en la transferencia de datos.

Für das Smartphone brauchte ich eine zusätzliche Speicherkarte. Diese hier war schnell geliefert in sicherer Verpackung wie Amazon-üblich. Das Auspacken war mühsam, mit einer Küchenschere aber noch gut zu bewältigen. Das Einsetzen ins Smartphone war recht einfach, die Karte ist maßhaltig und passt gut. Sie wurde auch sofort vom Samsung-Smartphone erkannt und war sofort einsatzfähig. Sie funktioniert zuverlässig und schnell, ich merke keinen Unterschied ob Daten im internen Speicher abgelegt sind oder auf der SD-Karte. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis fand ich sehr gut, das bestelle ich gerne wieder.

Avant d'avoir acheté cette carte, j'avais essayé une carte moins chère, qui s'est avérée catastrophique (je ne citerai pas la marque). Cette carte par contre est fiable pour enregistrer avec une caméra. Je regrette le prix un peu élevé, et aussi que la capacité REELLE soit bien inférieure à celle donnée (488 Go reconnus par la caméra pour 512 Go marqués sur la carte... quelle bizarrerie, non?). Quoi qu'il en soit je n'ai pas été déçu par cette carte à sa première utilisation longue durée (1 semaine d'enregistrement continu).
