I'm a bellydancer and bought these shoes to wear at my first restaurant gig. Having worked as a server, and having talked to more experienced bellydancers, I knew there was no way I was going to dance barefoot in a restaurant. That's just asking for trouble! (I think it may also be a health code violation.) Other reviews said these shoes were pretty comfy and fit as expected. Since I can wear an 8 or a 9 depending on how it's made, I went with an 8 1/2 and a 6cm heel in the Champagne color. The fit is slightly snug across the ball of the foot and in the toe box, but I think this will loosen up with a bit more wear. These shoes were comfy enough out of the box to wear for the duration of a 2 1/2 hour showcase. The suede soles were very flexible and offered just enough traction to keep me from slipping around on the floor, but had just enough slip for spins and Arabesques. The 6cm heel was enough to give me a little added height, but still low enough that I could go up on relevé and have a noticeable level change. For me, the Champagne color practically matches my skin tone. The color is very neutral, and will go well with just about any color of dance costume. Please note that these are NOT street shoes. The suede soles are specifically for dance. Wear them out in wet weather and the soles will be ruined. The only thing I'd change is the heel caps. They come with standard black plastic heel caps, which most dance studios don't allow. I may have these changed out for rubber heel caps later. Overall, these were a good buy!

These shoes are exactly as described. I'm pleased with the quality. They came 3 weeks early which was fantastic because the dance shoes I was using every day for the last year broke just a couple of days before these arrived. Breaking them in only took about a day and a half. The first day, the balls of my feet were on fire. There wasn't much padding in that area so I added insoles to that spot. The next day was instantly better. The third day was like I had been using them forever. They are so pretty, sturdy and comfortable. I got them in champaign color and I love it. They are exactly what I needed. If you read the description, it says actual heel height is 2.36" which was good for me. I ordered the same size dance shoe I always do and they were just right. I did have to add holes to the straps to make them tight enough. No big deal. Make sure you measure where the hole should go while it's on your feet. You may have to add two to make them even with the other holes. That way if you wear thick tights or socks with them, you'll still have a hole and a good fit for that situation. (But then take it off so you don't prick yourself!) all in all, I'm very happy with this purchase. They are sturdy and comfortable. I've already had comments that my balance has improved. I feel like these really hold me in.

The seller took the time to help me find the correct size and allowed me to adjust my order to select the heel size I wanted. The shoes are gorgeous and comfortable. Can't wait to wear these on New Years Eve to swing dance!

These were the perfect shoe to go with my 1920's inspired outfit for a themed wedding. I normally wear between a 7/12 and 8 in heels and the 8 fit perfect. The shoe was very comfortable the entire night. The champagne color was a soft muted beige color with a touch of sparkle that matched perfectly with my beige 1920's flapper dress  BABEYOND Women's Flapper Dresses 1920s V Neck Beaded Fringed Great Gatsby Dress (Small, Beige) and made the whole outfit. Something worth mentioning: I'm not a dancer by any means and maybe this is normal for shoe's made for dancing, but the strap does not go through the buckle and hook like a strappy shoe normally does - the strap is adjustable in the buckle but the buckle is attached to the strap and not the other part (heel) of the shoe like a strappy shoe normally is. There is a clip, like on the back of a swimsuit top, that the whole strap piece (buckle and strap) slides into to secure it making it easier to take on and off. I liked the concept and it was easy to still adjust the shoe to my ankle for a good fit.

These are just like the picture and beautiful! They do have the strap with the adjuster holes but the other side isn’t the traditional belt loop connector it’s a clip on the side so after you adjust the strap to size then you have to put the strap into the open clip to wear these. I normally wore US 7.5 shoe in women’s but 8 in dress boots and 8 in exercise shoes and 8 in some brands of flat shoes. I have an average width foot. The 8 was too big/loose so I think a 7.5 would be a good fit.

These shoes are beautiful! I wore these to a 1920's themed event and I received countless compliments on them. They are pretty with a timeless style that I think goes with any outfit. The color champagne is true to the picture. A nice neutral color with a little sparkle to it. The shoes were fairly comfortable but after a couple hours they did pinch my toes a bit so I would probably not dance the night away in these(I am not used to wearing heels) That said, they did fit true to my usual 8 1/2 size and I do have a wider foot and long toes. Of note, the buckle/clasp on these "dance shoes" is very different than a normal street shoe and I had a hard time figuring it out-actually had to watch a you tube video to learn how to clasp the buckle correctly.

Nice shoe. I wore at my wedding day. It runs a little big, but I still wore it anyways. It's very nice looking and had the perfect size heel for what I wanted. It was comfortable enough that wore all night without any complains. I recommend it, just get maybe half a size smaller that your real size.

It came as a pleasant surprise! I am a 7.5. I ordered 7.5 and they fit. They are comfortable; look quite beautiful and more sturdy than I expected. Very happy customer!

They are comfortable, super light, flexible and quite durable. After wearing these shoes for many of my dances I would not want to wear regular shoes to go dancing. I have 3 pairs, silver, gold and brown. The silver and gold are my favorite.

These are very elegant ballroom dance shoes. I did not need to break them in - they were very comfortable the first time.

Poor quality and sizing is not accurate.
