Truly an excellent tea
I was the host for my book club this month and served this tea along with two other same type and all members agreed this was the very best.

I will limit my attempt and say I was quite pleased with the color
Not being one accustomed to posting reviews on tea, I will limit my attempt and say I was quite pleased with the color, aroma, flavor and overall quality of the tea. in my opinion this is one of the very, very few healthful teas that actually tastes good whether iced or hot. I use 1 teaspoon tea to 6-8 oz. of 200 degree water and steep for 3 minutes. Each measure of tea is good for several cups but I usually limit myself to 3. I've been happy with other TeaLyra teas as well.

Beautiful flavor, good daily value
This is the one beverage I take traveling, even in tea-rich India and Asia. A beautiful, smooth tea. Have reused a single serving for up to five cups, so it stretches the value and still has the flavor. Nice color. Especially good after melting a spoonful of coconut oil into it as suggested by Tim Ferris for Titanium Tea.

Full flavor
I read a book about the region Pu erh tea is grown and became curious about its taste and claim that it lower cholesterol levels. I am very pleased with the flavor. It is full and rich and flavor, not like many teas that have a flavored water taste. I plan to continue to drink this tea and will check down the line to see if it truly lowers your cholesterol levels.

Excellent tea!
This is a high quality tea, worthy of Tealyra. However, it does not taste any better than a packed cake of such tea that can be purchased for 25% cheaper, per gram. If you drink pu’erh tea only occasionally, this is perfect. The more frequent tea drinker would also enjoy the Yunnan Longrun Pu-erh Tea Cake.

It’s not worth the money.
It is not unpleasant. The smoky flavor, though not unpleasant, masks the flavor of the tea (if there is any to start with). It does not have any of the characteristics of a genuine 20 yr pu’erh which is often compared to a good aged Carbonate Sauvignon: rich, mellow, smooth. It doesn’t have the soothing feeling afterwards. Usually I would like to try this in a tea shop before purchasing. Due to Covid 19, it is impossible. I took a chance to purchase it online since it’s not as expensive as a good pu’erh aged for 20 yrs in a brick. It’s just slightly better than a good tea bag (for some reason, Amazon cannot deliver Numi Emperor pu’erh to my area). So it’s not worth the money.

Quality Pu-erh
Quality is the key word here. Though expensive, it is well worth moving my grocery budget around to be able to have this on hand as a once a day treat. Pu-erh is different from other black teas because of the type of processing and aging. It is an acquired taste and some will like it, others won't. The earthly aroma and smooth woodsy taste is what keeps me coming back. And this Vintage Pu-erh certainly doesn't disappoint. If you like Pu-erh it is well worth a try. If you have't tried Pu-erh yet, only buy a small amount. You will either love it or hate it.

Taste and smells like seaweed. Yuck!
As soon as I opened the bag, I nearly fainted from the smell; it was an awful stench of seaweed, and not the savory kind, but rather rotten seaweed. Dont waste your money on this tea. Its awful that you cant even return this nasty tea. All i hope for is that no one is tricked into buying this like I was. Save your money!
