It’s a router plunge base
Works well. Plunge and black base plate included (I saw that another review said the base plate wasn’t included). Other item(s): instruction manual, which doesn’t include details on all aspects of the plunge.

Should have bought this sooner
Plunge base works great and did include the black plastic bottom with the inset center for Porter Cable bushings.

Too expensive, bought a new plunge router.
I decided to leave my rf1101 on my router table and bought a newer plunge router with 2 bases. Only another 100 more.

Warning...not 100% as shown.
WARNING: This item does not come with the black (plastic?) base that is shown in the image! Mine came with only one small wrench and instructions.

pricey, motor stick's in plunge base.
Hi, I purchased this plunge base to basically assist in fluting for mantle's. The only complaint is screwing the motor into the base is tough. Getting the motor out of the base is almost impossible.I have to spray silicone lubricant on the connection and two BIG STRONG MEN have to use all of their strength many, many, time's to extract the motor.
