This is the CUTEST
I haven’t even burned it long enough to ascertain how it smells while burning- but oh my goodness! As someone who absolutely loves butter but is lactose intolerant, the aesthetic is everything here. I got the Jasmine honeysuckle scent, and if you’ve ever had a honeysuckle candle you know it’s an enchanting aroma that is only heightened by the mix of jasmine- the overall effect is subtle, calming and feels like a stroll through a wooded forest in early spring. There’s almost a creamy scent to it? It’s really good! When it burns more I’ll talk about it throwing scent (I think that’s the term) but for now, super cute and seems to burn very cleanly! The wax is very nice, I can tell it’s high quality.

Very Satisfied
I got this candle as a gift from a friend and loved how fragrant it was so glad I was able to find it on Amazon. This is by far the best candle I have ever had. I last lit it yesterday and I can still smell it in the room. Buying more

Missing handle
Love this candle smells so good. Got it for part of a wedding gift and noticed the handle was missing which added to the appearance appeal. Was bummed about that.

Very nice looking. This one’s scent was too weak
I have purchased different varieties of this candle and had success. The Layer Cake was a little weak on scent.

Make the switch to perfection and enjoy the cream of candles
As a candle enthusiast myself, I'm always in the market for whatever burns the brightest, exudes the greatest smell, and lasts the longest. It's getting harder and harder to find better options, so I thought I'd give these quaint-looking "butter jar" candles a try. I hadn't heard of soy-based candles or their supposed superiority to paraffin wax before. I found myself intrigued, and as it turns out, everything I read about them is correct. Not only that, but these little beauties in particular are of considerable high quality.Starting with the scent, it is not only really pleasant, very true to 'Apple Strudel' by smelling of caramelized apples, but also strong and long-lasting. The only caveat I can add to the latter part is that if you burn it as frequently as I do, you are likely to get used to the smell. This is NOT major, however, and I still have the nicest smelling room in the house. I will say the strength only goes from strong at first and mellows out over time. It will linger a good bit after you've quit burning, which only serves to improve the overall value even more by not actually needing it lit to enjoy the continuing aromatic effect. With regards to the burn time, I had been incredibly skeptical of their claim that this candle burns for an "unsurpassed 120+ hours". Well, I decided to record when and for how long I burned the candle each session, and I've recently made it to the 56 hour mark. This is already more than many paraffin wax candles you might buy, and the level of wax is just barely about the halfway point. It's looking quite likely this candle will last in the upwards of triple-digits, so this is a massive victory for the candle and further strengthens the credibility of the product. As for looks and construction, this candle is incredibly cute. I'm not sure I'd ever have thought to devise a candle shaped like a butter jar, but some creative minds managed to make it look fantastic. The material itself, both the glass and handle, are very nice and not at all cheap feeling. And yes, there is a handle, and it also has a hook in the middle which makes it perfect for hanging like a lantern should you have a place for it. I can honestly think of many uses for this jar after all the wax is used up, so even after being completely spent, the candle continues to be useful!Anyway, I've written a pretty length review for a candle. I can only hope this conveys to you how utterly incredible they are and how much having owned and burned it has improved my living space. If you're in the market for a sweet smelling, long-lasting, and high value candle, do yourself a favor and give this one a try. After experiencing several different brands and types of candles of various different price points, I can safely say that these Milkhouse Creamery candles are the absolute best ones currently on the market.

Damaged
This came scratched from th handle being taken off and put on top of my candle holder. I have to turn it to the back so you can’t see the scratches.
