What impressed me the most was the incredibly fast shipping, it arrived earlier than expected. For someone who cooks often like I do, timely delivery really matters. The product was carefully wrapped in bubble wrap, so it arrived in perfect condition, no dents, cracks, or damage. You can tell the seller genuinely cares about the customer experience. The seal was intact, extra tape was added and everything looked clean and carefully handled. As for the salt itself, it’s classic Maldon quality: light, delicate flakes with a clean, balanced saltiness that’s not harsh. It’s perfect for finishing steaks, eggs, salads, or even sprinkling on baked goods to enhance flavor balance. The 570g (1.25 lb) tub is generous and will last a long time, making it a great value.

Ok so I’ve been watching YouTube shorts and TikTok’s about this salt and I just had try it. It is 11:26pm on 3/24/26 and I literally was just handed my package by an Amazon driver. First thing I did was open the package and tub of salt, grabbed a pinch and straight into my mouth. Guys trust me when I say this is absolutely the best flaky salt I’ve ever had. The taste is so pure and elegant. It’s not over powering at all. It lingers for about 15-20 seconds and then you want another pinch. The crunch is like nothing I’ve ever had. Hard to explain but you know that fresh peanut brittle crunch well that’s about as close as I can describe it. I actually ordered this to try with steaks and chocolate chip cookies. In fact last night I prepared the cookie dough and was waiting for this salt to get here to bake them. Gonna do that now. I don’t even need to wait for the cookies to be done to tell you all that it’s gonna pair well with the cookies. Can’t wait!! Definitely gonna order again when this one runs out which I’m assuming will be very soon. Definitely recommend you all try this salt at least once in your life. Also the price range isn’t half as bad as I thought it would be. Ok time for some chocolate chip cookies. Thanks.

I watch a chef on IG that always put a handful of the most delicious looking salt in her dishes and something about it looks so fluffy and special, you can just tell it's good even through the screen. That chef finally mentioned that she uses Maldon salt, which I was worried would be crazy expensive so I immediately searched for it and ordered it and was pleasently surprised by the price. It is something that will change all my meals and cooking for the better, which is a big deal that the meals I eat will now have a more special quality. The flakes are fine and dissolve well (so they combine in a dish well), yet you can feel a noticeable and slight salty crunch and punch of flavor when you come across a crystal you topped your food with. Not to mention, I looked up the statistics for micro plastic and metal content in this salt and it scored extremely well, especially for a product that isn't ultra refined/processed and doesn't have added components to it like most of the salt you find at the grocery store. It adds an element of whimsy and feels like a gourmet product which may sound odd for something as simple as salt, but that's the point - it's something you add to Every dish you cook from scratch and therefore makes a huge difference. From the size, texture, taste, this is an AMAZING product.

Received 2 days before it was expected. Packaged very well for shipping. My first time buying flaky salt. So glad I did! This stuff is pretty awesome. Large flakes that would make you think that it would be very salty, but it's light. Delightfully crunchy and tasty. If you get your nose up close to the surface of the salt in the container, you will notice a slight odor, but it's not unpleasant at all. Large beautiful white flakes. I've been watching a chef that uses this type of finishing salt on a lot of his dishes and was intrigued. It definitely has visual appeal. I think I would like this on soft pretzels. So often the salt on them is way too much, but it has that visual appeal. This would give that same visual appearance yet not be too salty. I will buy from this seller again! Great product.

This is my 4th time buying Maldon's from Amazon. In my opinion it is the finest salt available, particularly for finishing. It doesn't go in a grinder, you simply grasp a pinch with your fingertips and crush it as you sprinkle. The "grains" have a hollow pyramidal structure with paper thin walls that crushes easily. Has a clean, delicate flavor without an extreme salty taste like ground salt or shaker salt. Harvested by hand from the sea. Use it on almost everything! It will especially elevate your steak game, it literally melts on a juicy steak.

This is easily the best flaky sea salt I have tried yet. The flakes are nice and coarse, providing a perfect crunch and excellent flavor. My only complaint is the packaging; I really wish it came in a resealable bag. Once the box is open (and the flimsy plastic holding the salt), it’s very easy to accidentally tip over and spill. Despite that, the quality of the salt itself is top-tier—I just recommend transferring it to a glass jar!"

Great salt. Use it everyday for the past several years. Packaging gets crushed but contents are great. I especially like how it mixes so well in food. Has a clean taste.
