Easy to replace yourself, makes the engine sound a bit better. It got me from 32 mpg average per tank to 35 with no changes in driving style. I can't attest to the long term performance but so far so good

Great product. I have used k&n filters in my other vehicles before, but for the Scion iq I got very good results. After replacing my paper filter with the k&n filter my car engine braked down hills more effortlessly and more efficient. The sport mode works better also to slow the car down inclines. You can hear the difference in the air flow versus a paper filter. It sounds like a rushing of air Into your engine. The Blue ridge Parkway was a joy with this new filter. On the way back I measured my gas mileage on level ground back to my city. I drove over 100 miles and my average has mileage on the computer says 45.3 to 45.6 mpg now. My Scion iq is suppose to get 36 city to 38 mpg on the highway. I use synthetic oil Castrol and marvel mystery oil in my gas. Before using the filter I was getting 39 to 37 mpg or below on the highway. I am highly surprised. I also filter more power merging onto highways and more acceleration when I needed to avoid idiots on the road. I recommend this product. The manufacturer said in the FAQ on the website that it filters 97 to 99%. I am fine with that if my engine works less and I gain 7.6 mpg compared to manufacturer stated mpg on highway. I also didn't use the air conditioner.

Buyers be aware that not all air filters made by the company fits. Mine did not at all...had to return it with big disappointment.
