I don't know what is in the cheap silicone pads but they itch. These are great!

I've had titanium nose pads for years. These are great. But as a typical American, these metric measures are messed up.

I am allergic to the plastic nose pcs. When mine broke off I was told they could not be replaced and I needed to buy all new frames at at out $700.00. They said they could not order just the nose pc . So I went to Amazon and saved a ton of money…. Perfect fit.Thanks

I recently discovered that I've developed an allergy to the silicone nose pads that come with most pairs of glasses. Wearing my glasses caused me to start developing semi-permanent dark marks on my skin where the nose pads touched my face. Hours after taking my glasses off, the dark marks persisted and my skin had a certain burning sensation while wearing my frames. After a little research, I discovered it was an allergy to silicone (which makes sense since I'm already allergic to latex as well).I bought these titanium nose pads as an alternative to the silicone ones that were causing me the issues. Sure enough, my skin reacted favorably to the titanium. After a few weeks the dark marks on my nose cleared up and I no longer had the burning sensation on my face while wearing glasses.If you think you may be in the same boat as me, I highly recommend you give these a try. They were not very difficult to install on my glasses with a jeweler's screw driver. If you don't have a high level of manual dexterity, you may want to have someone at a local optometrist's office or eye glasses store do it for you.Highly recommended!

Got these after my new glasses silicone nose pads were irritating my skin. These were easy to change out with a small screwdriver and they fit my metal frame glasses perfectly and snug.

I bought it mainly to get rid of nose pads that turns green over time (algae growth) and wanted a durable nose pad that won’t break easily. So far so good but not sure if I actually titanium ?

I am allergic to plastic so these titanium nose pads are a lifesaver for me since glasses come with plastic nose pieces. I was thrilled to find these.

Got these to see if I was allergic to my silicone ones. No way to know if they’re titanium for sure but my nose rash has gone away.
