The Battle of Hogwarts and the Magic Used to Defend It (Harry Potter)

This is a nice match to the Marauder's Map book that came out a few years ago. The first book simplified the layout of Hogwarts for those of us who don't remember all the details, and now there is a summary of the battles leading up to the grand finale. A nice quick reference with lots of pictures but both are more slanted to the movie point of view than the book details. The cover states From the Films of Harry Potter. The wands are delightful.

Even though book was listed as used, book appeared to be brand new. The wand was still attached and sealed with blister packing.

If you buy this probably should have some LR41 batteries on hand which I had to buy online because I couldn't find them in the store. The reason I say this is because the wand light was dead upon arrival, had to put new batteries in it. It works now, but you should haven't to replace the batteries from the get go.

Ordered the book as a birthday gift. As it hasn’t come out for sale in Mexico, I ordered it from the USA and paid special shipping. The paper on the back of the wand camed ripped off and the magnet wont hold it together when you pull the wand... Don’t like damaged goods...

I have 2 of these now and the friggin light doesn't work on either of them. I even changed out the batteries.

L'ho comprato per mio figlio che si e' appassionato alla saga di Harry Potter.E' fatto molto bene e contiene molti particolari riguardo i personaggi, le locations e altro che abbiamo visto nel capitolo finale della saga del maghetto con gli occhiali.Insieme con il libro c'e' anche la Elder wand (la bacchetta di Silente) che ha un bottone che accende un piccolo led sulla punta; un accessorio indispensabile che fara' contenti i bambini.Quella che ho acquistato e' la versione inglese, quindi occhio alla descrizione dell'articolo se pensate di acquistarla.La raccomando a tutti gli appassionati della serie che vogliono anche cogliere l'occasione di imparare/perfezionare il proprio inglese.

If ur a potter head then u’ll definitely enjoy this book ! It has a lot of information about spells , characters , actors etc ... comes with a light-up toy wand which can write in invisible ink ! My brother is not a Harry Potter fan but he enjoyed playing with the wand . Great book 👍 must buy !

Amazing due to its wand with invisible ink pen that is only visible when it come in contact with wand's tip light.Although the book matter was not so interesting to read.But book was overall ok.
