Beautiful Figurine!
Arrived in perfect condition. This really should be called "Bavarian/Tyrolian Father Christmas" because it is truly Alpine to the core with all the trimmings. Liked it so much we purchased the same larger figurine too!

A lot of beautiful detail on the figurine that is related to the country
Bought this after a river cruise on the Rhine River in Europe. I love it!!! I actually bought the German one and the Holland one. Unfortunately it states on the bottom of the figurine that it is made in China but guess I’ll get over that because it is so nicely detailed. I’ve always liked Jim Shore’s figurines.

Bello.
Me encantan estas piezas, ya tengo 5 con esta, pero me confundí al comprarla, pensé que sería del mismo tamaño que los otros, pero este era pequeño por que era ornamenta para rl arbolito.

Oi Oi Oi! A True Blue Ornament!
This is a lovely little ornament for any Aussies, ex-pats, Jim Shore fans, Santa lovers or Christmas knick-knack related collectors. It is a charming and reasonably well executed rendition of Santa aka: 'Father Christmas' wearing what apparently Jim Shore for Enesco Heartwood consider to be the *traditional-with-a-touch-of-humour* features of national dress, should Santa come from the land of (insert your country here) As a multinational melting pot family, we purchased a few as gifts this year: including the German, Swiss and Mexican versions too... sadly no Croatian option was available, boo! - this review is mostly of the Australian ornament by a mostly ornamental Australian. As the images suggest, Santa dons a few fun features that change from country to country- whatever the artist imagines would be super popular and recognizable as representing the land DownUnder. This means a slouch hat, a version of our akubra hats with one side tucked up to make room for a rifle butt- first worn by our mounted state police in the late 1800's and then recognized as a distinctive part of our ANZAC's uniforms during WW1 - most often associated with the Light-horsemen (or Mel Gibson) but sometimes also called Diggers Hats for this reason. My little history lesson's purpose is to explain that for most Australians, the sight of a slouch style Akubra is somewhat sobering and solemn and not as festive and amusing as say, a cork hat, croc teeth hat, cricket hat or standard akubra might be. Seeing a slouch hat atop a jolly fat (imaginary) bugger is a wee bit jarring when you're used to seeing it on your best mate or brother-in-law... not to mention a few humbling centenarian diggers on Anzac Day. #Respect.Other than that, it's a chariming, solidly executed little ornament that brings a little bit of Australia with you wherever you are. As much as an ornament designed overseas & Made in China can do. To be fair so are most of the ones sold in Australian tourist shops, too. This one most definitely is a step up from the Santa in boardies, Oakleys and a singlet holding a tinny in a foam cooler or riding a surf board, etc. The solid build and flat bottom means you don't have to hang it, you can stand it on your mantlepiece or entry console, coffee table or even arrange a Macy's thanksgiving day parade of your own right down the centre of your holiday dinner table.I will say also that the colours are somewhat muted- more so than they appear in the photos on my screen- and quite unlike the colours of anything back home, be that a good thing or bad thing of course is entirely up to personal preference.Ultimately we are pleased to add this particular iteration of Father Christmas to our collection of holiday paraphernalia and we hope that we can add a Croatian one in the near future to round out our collection with international Santa representatives for each member of our delightfully mixed up family like a little holiday UN. Because, why not? We love these little guys and we love each other too. And love makes the world go round!

It is as described ..
I have a few of his ornaments , I find them unique and different than what is offered in retail stores . The imagination , characteristics and attention to detail make these ornaments collectibles .. and treasures to give as gifts .

Part of collection
I have started to collect these Santas from different countries. They are unique and nicely painted. A bit pricey for a small ornament but they are part of the Jim Shore collection and all those ornaments are pricey. Came well packed in original Jim Shore box so I was happy.
