Pacific Northwest, Marine Animals, Geometric (1000 Piece Puzzle, Size 19x27, Challenging Jigsaw Puzzle for Adults and Family, Made in USA)

As a regular puzzle maker, I had to pout at the sudden shortage of jigsaw puzzles as lockdown started. This was one of 3 puzzles I got from the unfamiliar Lantern Press.- First problem, when I opened the Amazon box there were 3 identical, pictureless boxes (see photo).- Second problem, all of the pieces are the same cut (2 opposing heads and holes), so no shape-sorting option.- Third problem, the color printing of the poster was very different from the puzzle (see photo).Added 9/16/2020Just went back and looked at the image for the product on Amazon and it depicts a jigsaw cut (maybe a digital overlay) with pieces with varied and interesting shapes. That is definitely *not* what came in the pictureless Lantern Press box.The pieces were all clean-cut and unbent. There was a lot of dust, and I had to dump the pieces from lid to bottom and back several times to sift out all of the dust.The image is great for divide-and-conquer construction. It looks like Charlie Harper style, but Lantern Press claims it is by in-house artists, and it is oddly free of copyright information.

I was a little worried ordering a puzzle from a company that isn't all about puzzles, but this puzzle was both gorgeous and well-made.We have ordered other puzzles from this company as well, and I'm happy to say each puzzle doesn't have exactly the same pieces as the others (i.e. the four 1000pc puzzles we purchased are all cut differently).When we put this together, we didn't look at the box and it made it a lot more fun! "What is that? Is that a leg or part of a bird?" Think that approach works especially well with these "geometric" pictures.Will definitely keep this company in mind for future, glue-and-hang-worthy puzzles!

I wanted to love this puzzle for the picture, but the quality is not good.I was hoping the puzzle would be more matte, but still loved it for the picture so decides to keep....until I started putting it together and noticed how cheap it felt and looked. Not all pieces had been separated before packaging, but the biggest part is the pieces fit so loosely together it is REALLY hard to tell if they fit. Also the pieces are not really smooth on the edges so that makes it look cheap when putting together.

The artwork is lovely. Took forever to receive but, I think that was just a covid problem.

Very pretty, I love the bright colors, and just the right amount of difficulty.

Loved this challenging puzzle! Packaged with ever piece and had a great time with family putting it together. Like the image so much, we’re going to frame it!

I enjoyed everything about this puzzle however the month long wait to get it cost it a star

Good quality puzzle pieces are a good thickness and color is as pictured image is crisp. It is a large puzzle but is a little overpriced.
