Platinum Mechanical Pencil Oleenu Shield, 0.5mm, Silver (MOLS-200-#9)

I prefer pencil over pen whenever possible. It feels good in my hand and looks great. It comes preloaded with lead. The eraser cap conceals the eraser to add aesthetics. Most things coming from Japan are beautiful, anyway. Thumbs up.

i heard about this pencil at a website devoted to mechanical pencils and pens.i break off lots of leads with my other pencils and thought i'd try one designed to minize lead breakage.i haven't broken one on this pencil yet.i'd prefer a thicker pencil but i'm so happy to have one that keeps me from breaking leads that i'm certainly not going to complain.the product was made in japan where it shipped from. so it took awhile. well worth the wait. price was crazy cheap for such a well designed device.

The pen is made of plastic, so it doesn't have that much weight. However, it is still comfortable to hold and write with.

The mechanism is on par with the best Japanese mechanical pencils. It's more lightweight but it's solid performance and ergos.

Probably the best mechanical pencil I've ever owned. The grip is smooth and comfortable (not ergo), the lead comes out smoothly. The lead sheath is supported by a spring so most standard writing impacts do not break the lead (I've been using it for a week now constantly with no broken lead yet). Extremely happy with this product and will definitely would recommend to everyone looking for mechanical pencils. Best quality for the best price.

It is a gift for a relative for art work. He likes the pen very much.

I received 3 of these as gifts for Christmas. I started a new job where I needed to do a lot of writing in a warehouse environment. 2 of the 3 have broken in less that 10 months. I think the components are cheaply made.I do like the double knock system and the retractable tip with the spring to protect your lead, but I feel that that spring is the main weakness. It seems to wear out quickly so the tip doesn't retract all the way after only a little hard use.You can spend equal or less money and get a Kuru Toga Pipe Slide that will protect your lead and is a better quality pencil. You can get a Zebra Delguard for similar price that will do an even better job of protecting your lead.I guess my point is, this pencil is okay, but for the same money or less you can do much better if you research a little bit.

i think its really good the only problem is that i can't figure out how to replace the eraser that came with it and thats really it

Lo vi desde los 90s y bajo hasta 87 pesosmx asi que lo adquiri si. o si, Compre anteriormente un modelo igual en color rosa y me encanta sin embargo la mina en este lapiz se siente diferente ,menos suave y oscura que la que compre hace dos años, sin embargo la construccion del lapiz es igual de buena , se siente un poco flojo en la punta. lo revisare mas cuidadosamente , pero de todas formas estos lapices son de muy buena calidad y valen la pena mas por el precio que lo adquiri, buena comprade oportunidad,

Dieser Stift liegt wunderbar in den Händen dank der Gummihalterung. Das Material ist überwiegend aus hartem Plastik. Der Stift ist nicht übermäßig dick (wie die Standard Version), sondern eher schlank (jetzt nicht so schlank wie der Pentel Orenz). Dieser Stift hat ein "Double clutch mechanism" das es ermöglicht die Miene zum allerletzten Stück zu verwenden, so dass ein paar mm über bleiben. Es funktioniert nur, wenn eine weitere Ersatzmiene im Stift ist. Zweitens, dieser Stift hat Federn, die den ausgeübten Druck absorbieren, wodurch die Miene zurück in den Stift fährt, um Brüche zu meiden. Der Hersteller gibt auch an, dass der Stift Stöße absorbiert, wenn der Stift fällt, wodurch Mienenbrüche verhindert werden können. Anders als die High Grade Version, hält dieser Stift (die Shield Version) tatsächlich das Versprechen ein. Ich habe den Stifte mehrere Male in der Höhe meines Tische fallen gelassen (so dass der Stift waagerecht landete) und die Miene ist kein einziges Mal gebrochen und zeigt auch keine Risse. Na endlich habe ich den perfekten Stift Druckbleistift gefunden, der meiner Meinung nach besser als die Zebra Delguard Stifte (ich habe alle drei Versionen im Besitz) sind. Since I write very small, I have to apply a bit of force when writing. As advertised, it doesn't break leads easily. I don't appreciate the plastic feel of the body at all, but for the price, it is still a great pencil. Though you could spend a bit more for metal body Uni Kuru Toga, I'm still willing to buy again once my current one breaks.

Another example of Japanese ingenuity and technical skills. Design is flawless, but the internal shock absorber is just genius!
