Best ever - Lagos LAW, PRINCIPLEs, WISDOM
Best guide ever. Mrs and I were so engulfed in the book the moment we unwrapped it. We've discovered loads of new places for our next trip.Lagos LAW: this book makes it a 'law' to enjoy yourself when visiting Lagos. Lagos Island and Mainland destinations revealed with up to date addresses. Readers can plan trips around Lagos with knowledge of nearest eateries, hotels or sea side resorts. Lovely pictures of loads of destinations with awesome commentary.Lagos PRINCIPLEs: the guide has a few interview sections (great idea by the way), explains what to expect at loads of locations, restaurants etc. The Principle is to love Lagosians and celebrate them for the numerous achievements that this guide exposes. We love the corporate bike rider who showcased his Naija 'never gives up' skills.Lagos WISDOM: Not only does the guide end with a bonus section (Made in Nigeria - free extras to celebrate the movie industry, books, music and fashion); the author definitely knows her stuff and sends a clear message to her readers: Love Lagos, appreciate Lagos tourism, and in Lagos the 'Nigerian Dream' is real.

Good gift idea and looks good on coffee table too 😉
I bought this book for my brother in law as a gift but after receiving raving review by him, I decided to buy myself one. I will surely use it as a guide when I visit Lagos again but for now I am happy reading it and it looks good on my coffee table too. I will surely be buying another copy for my sister in law. Fab Christmas gift idea 😉

The best African travel guide out there
Finally!!!Probably one of the most insightful travel books I've ever bought. I love how it breaks down each part of the city into its own section. Where to shop, what to eat and how to absorb the city of Lagos safely is detailed. I used the book as a guide to get around and I didn't have time to finish even one section. This book is all you need to enjoy Lagos like a local ... but safely.

Beautifully engaging.
Wow, wow, wow!!!!! Funke, what can I say? I have just fully absorbed your book, Lagos Travel Guide, and you opened up Lagos to me in a new way.I only spent ten full years in Lagos, apart from the short periods in my adult years. Some places you mentioned, e.g, Badagry were a walk down memory lane- my late mum took my sister and I for a weekend of sightseeing back in the early 70s. I repeated this as a day’s trip with my daughter and niece in 2017, had a very experienced tour guide on this trip. His name escapes me at the moment.Balogun Market, got lost and stayed put. My thinking, when it happened in 2003, was when my stepmum gets back to the car, my father would send her back to look for me and that is exactly what happened.Next time I visit Lagos, thanks to you, I have some eateries and galleries on my to do list.Well done and may the Lord grant you more innovative ideas.❤️❤️
