Water Fountain - Cedric the Squirt Gothic Gargoyle Statue Garden Decor Tabletop Fountain - Desk Fountain Water Feature

Love this! It is just as described, a mini fountain. Cedric is right at home on my plant shelf outside. I put mine on a flower pot to enhance the depth of sound coming from the fountain. It seems cooler in the hot backyard when I am near the fountain, where I can hear it. I don't have power where I wanted my Cedric to live, so I haven't tried out the pump that came with him. I power my Cedric Squirt with a solar powered mini pump (Lewisia battery backup solar fountain pump 5 watt w/lights and remote control, also from Amazon) that lights the little pool of water at night.Update: Cedric was not squirting like he was when I first set him up even though the pump was providing more than enough volume of water. When I first set him up, I noticed a little blob of netting in his spitter, which I think is there to filter, keep bugs out, and moderate the water flow so it doesn't over-shoot the bowl. Tried taking this out with a toothpick, and cleaning it, tried lots of things, like other reviewer, nothing worked. I then discovered a SECOND little blob of netting way up inside his mouth/spitter, behind the first one. I could only see this one with very bright light directly in the spitter. I got it out with a toothpick, and found it had a bunch of tiny pieces of plastic or resin trapped behind it, and that this is what was causing the problem. I put it back together with nothing in the spitter, and the water flow was so strong, that I added back one little netting blob to act as a filter, and moderate the water flow. Cedric has been happily squirting day and night ever since!I will try to post a little video, or picture later.

I ordered from Amazon, because the origin from tuscano design was sold out. Exact same as from toscano. But way better priced! Yes, it works. The fountain spits a tiny trickle. This is a resin plastic made overseas cheap fountain. Poor design at best. Not suitable for outside under any situation. Check your measurements.....it's way to small to be anywhere but a maybe desktop. Cheaply made and bad designed. No reasonable instructions, you just have to figure it out. It's loud, noisy, not smooth operating. In hindsight, I would wait for a bigger, cement model. This one is not even fiberglass..,it's cheap Chinese imported plastic. Do not use outside!

Updated review... The stream of water is incredibly weak from when I first set it up. There is something in the tubing that's stopping the flow, and I can't seem to figure out what it is. I'm considering returning it.Update: I ended up returning it. It's extremely frustrating to have to go through so much to get a fountain to work that you paid $50 for. I have no idea what the issue is with the spitter, and why the water flow is so weak. I tried cleaning out the filter, using tooth picks and pipe cleaners to try and get anything out of the tubing.... Nothing is working.I'm not going to say "Don't buy this"... Maybe your experience will be better than mine, but my fountain wasn't worth keeping.

This one is a nice touch to your office or any desk and will work outside too if the temps are high enough. The cord is long so plugging him in isn't a big ordeal. I plug him into an extension cord out on my back patio which is enclosed and he is good to go. I don't run him all the time and when he is shut down I remove the water but when we have a guest coming I do get him set up. He is sort of creepy and sort of cute, a face that only a Mother can love type of thing.. I have had a couple teens go wild over him so that is something unique to keep in mind as a present for a teen. I love the way this looks, BUT after it runs for just a little while, the water starts to dripi and I can't figure out what to do to make it work right. I've tried everything I can from blowing through the air tube to sticking a pipe cleaner through the mouth hole to make sure there were no obstructions.UPDATE 1/29/18: I FINALLY figured out the problem—some glob of something hard was stuck in the tube at the mouth of the Gargoyle. I had to use a variety of MacGyver type tools to get it out. It had been in there since day one and I kept thinking somethingwas wrong with the pump. Argh! Now it works and flows great! Love it.

The media could not be loaded.  I'm very happy with this little guy. I wanted a fountain for my desk at work, but I've found the cheaper ones get noisy very quickly. This one seems to have a higher quality pump that's also easily (and cheaply) replaceable. Like another buyer, I wasn't thrilled with the look of the screen, but I understand it's to keep water from splashing everywhere. I did the same thing they did and filled the trough with stones, although I used reflective, decorative glass pebbles (see video) and made sure to keep the flow very slow. I also purchased a cheap pond LED and attached it above the fountain to give a gentle glow. I was going to put it in the trough, but the trough is too small. Effect is still achieved, however. Very please so far.

Very disappointed! This little tabletop fountain is cheaply made of thin resin, falls off it's pedestal easily and has stopped working except for an occasional dribble after only two months. Definitely a bad purchase.

So awesome. I love it. Arrived with no damage and it works. I've always wanted a Gargoyle. The fountain is perfect to display with all my plants indoors.

Knew it was going to be small, but wow. Also looks the top is way lighter in colour than the base.

Sent a fountain that has no way of pumping water from the bowl into the reservoir. There is no drain. The fountain just over flows when pumping water. Waste of money will return.
