Federal Hip Holster for S&W Governor

I am very pleased with this holster. It's economical, well constructed, fits my Governor perfectly, and more importantly, it allows the weapon to ride higher on the belt with less movement or "sagging" than my very expensive De Santis 016 V1. I'll probably keep the De Santis for cross draw use, but this beats it for riding high and tight on the hip. Heck, I even have a prayer of concealment under a loose shirt or jacket with this holster. I doubt you will be disappointed with this holster for your Governor.Update: After months of almost daily use, no undesirable traits have emerged. It is holding it's shape and no stitching is coming apart. I use it threaded onto my belt and removed the steel belt clip, so i can't comment on the clip's utility.

Perfect holster for the Governor! Fits perfect, not cheaply made for the price, AND made in AMERICA! Great little inexpensive holster for exactly what I need it for- working around the yard and fishing. The great thing about it is the price! If I mess it up in the yard, I don’t mind because it wasn’t that expensive. I also like the clip AND belt loop so I can wear it with whatever I want. Could also possibly double as an inside the pant concealment holster- if you really wanted to attempt to conceal this beast of a gun! Anyways, all in all, I’m very satisfied with this product. No issues with my gun fitting in it.

Fits great, this is the first holster for the S&W Governor I found that actually covers the trigger. Definitely not the highest quality holster but it’s cheap enough that I’ll just buy a new one when this one starts falling apart.

If you have a Governor , trust me This holster will fit your Governor Revolver. I bought one for my governor and for my 9mm shield plus’. I am looking for a good OWB For my 9mm Shield plus 3.1 with TLR6 Streamlight light n laser. Oh and the qualities of these holsters are great. You can move clip to either side for wrapping around your belt. Thanks for your awesome products.

thanks, I have been looking for a soft inside the waistband holster for concealment. This is perfect. I noticed the first review ,the picture is of the wrong holster. The correct holster will correct his problem. By switching sides with the metal belt clip, I was able to slip the holster inside my pants with the holster securely clipped in place on my belt. It was comfortable and secure from the first day. I really like the thumb break release, in the event of a struggle, the firearm is retained in the holster. Yet deploys smooth and fast. Thanks again. great product.

It is a nice holster but it arrived with a hole that was melted into the side that looked like it was done with a soldering iron! If it wasn't damaged I would have given it five stars. How could this happen?

This holster is just what i was looking for. Lightweight, economical and comfortable. I was concerned about the size for a S&W Governor based on mixed reviews on it being the right size. I just don't get how some people say it fits great and others say it does not fit at all. When I first got it it looked too small but it is a very cool design and expands to fit. I found it to fit perfectly. The velcro straps also allow you to adjust the strap length to fit over the trigger or as desired.
