I have a guide dog, and am in college. I carry this bed in my backpack so he has a place to lay down while I’m in class or studying. I love that this folds easily and is waterproof underneath. I can easily fit it in my back pack and I don’t need to worry about putting it on the grass if I’m eating lunch outside. He likes having his own spot in classes and not having to sit on the hard ground.I recommend this to anyone who needs a portable bed for their dog!One note on size, I have a ~80 lbs black lab. I bought the medium size and it is plenty big. The large would have been way too large.

Before this product. I had been using a bath mat which was not water[rooof. This works well and is much more protection for my dog. He loves it. Now he stays put while I am out to dinner. He no longer roams.

Well designed dog pad. Easy. Well made, comfortable for my Big standard Poodle. Rubber on the bottom so does not get wet. Folds up super easy.Much easier than a blanket.

I bought this pad to use in conjunction with the Ruffwear Highlands dog sleeping bag (Med.) and it fits perfectly in the sleeve on the back of the bag. It has a microsuede surface and a rubberized backing that keeps it from slipping on hardwood floors and also waterproof when outdoors. It's nice to use on it's own at the campground for a soft and dry place for your dog to relax on - and then can be inserted into the sleeping bag sleeve at night to make a comfy bed. It's a nice amount of cushion and thermal protection without being bulky. I plan to use this on our backpacking trips also as it's lightweight and compatible. The pad folds up and the attached velcro strap holds it together. Combined with the sleeping bag it is perfect for my dogs outdoor overnight adventures! As you can see, she loved it immediately :)

Easy to store and set up. Not horribly thick but enough for most outdoor settings. High quality but perhaps a tad overpriced for what it actually is. Works fantastically when paired with its matching sleeping bag.

We took this for our German wirehair it worked out well. It wasn’t very heavy so I didn’t mind carrying it and he seemed to appreciate the pad when we were at camp.

Overpriced in my opinion. It’s a matt with no cushion or insulation, which i was aware of. It does seem to keep moisture from coming through, so that is good. Seems to be well made, but with a lab, nothing is chew proof. We used it back packing and wow does that faux suede top pick up and hang onto dirt. Wasn’t terrible to clean with a hose.

This is part of our dog travel bag. The user is a small rescue greyhound named hazel. She's about 65 lbs. We tend to go for a hike then stop by a brewery on the way home. This is great for a "spot" for her and protects from gravel/hard surfaces of outdoor areas. She's longer but tends to curl a bit when she lays down so she fits and. It packs up small and the material has held up great against sharper gravel/stones and while thin it does have a nice lil bit of padding.

Great texture, very soft, waterproof bottom, and easy Velcro closure. Folding up is super easy. My little dog loves the mat!

Using this as a settle-mat when I’m taking my 2 greyhounds to a restaurant. They have a high boney chest so to lay down on bare ground is not so comfortable. This pad serves its purpose! It is very compact & light but still very comfortable for the dog. Used it for the first time today and both immediately took to it.Ruffwear quality

We’ve already got one of these in a larger size - we wanted another one for our smaller Labrador. The waterproof backing keeps the top of the mat dry - we take these with us for our dogs to lie on when we go to the pub (it’s their ‘place’ so they know where to lie down) and we’ve also taken them camping. The mats can be cleaned with a sponge. We love these mats!

Do not recommend using the pad for camping. Does not keep the dog warm and is not easy to keep in place. It is somewhat water resistance and easy to clean and can be folded into small piece. For The overall price there are other option to consider this do recommend.
